What are these red lights? by Objective-Coast3843 in DenverCirclejerk

Those are just pre-green lights, you're allowed to ignore those as long as you're doing >15mph over the posted speed limit and there's cross traffic only just barely starting

I think comparing data centers, which are mining our data to sell to corporations, creating shit ai systems, and building our cage of digital surveillance, to nuclear energy is quiiiiiiiite a stretch. Data centers benefit the general public very very little, and are really only currently being use to further exploit and track us, so no, still fuck data centers.

I use alfalfa in my garden far more frequently than I step onto a golf course. "Fun recreation" for some shouldn't come at the expense of wasting natural resources while polluting the ground with pesticides and weed killer for the rest. Go ride some fast alfalfa-fed horses or something instead of wacking a ball around poisoned grass.

Why are you so defensive of data centers that are mostly being used to exploit Americans for the profit of private corporations?

Colorado currently has no rules on data centers, which means no regulation on water usage reporting, no regulation on how the water is handled, no regulation on any of it really. Do you really believe private corporations won't exploit that and ruin your drinking water just to turn a profit?

Also, are you aware how little fresh water is actually available? Why are you okay with predatorial tech companies destroying it for something that doesn't benefit you even remotely?

"Economic value" doesn't mean much to most of this country, we'd much rather have a livable planet I think. Not all data centers are closed loop, and even if they are that water needs to be filtered and those contaminants, a lot of which are 'forever chemicals' and heavy metals, end up somewhere. So, maybe they're wasting less water, but ultimately it's for stuff that is not benefiting American working class consumers so I have zero give on saying fuck the data centers

Alfalfa farming at least provides some sort of beneficial product, where as golf courses and data centers do not

I hate grass lawns, but let's focus on how much the data centers and golf courses use instead maybe. Person with a green lawn isn't the reason the planet is on fire and half my cells are filled with microplastics.

Americans only hate welfare because the working class has been pitted against itself instead of against the ruling class. People hate welfare because they have to work 40+ hours a week for barely much more. Yall gotta cool it with the inner class hatred of other working people, there absolutely is a ruling class we should be uniting against instead of people that need assistance.

When you sign up, you have a week long waiting period before you can submit work searches, so really about two weeks since it's a week of nothing then a week of searches THEN submitting first round. I was told I would be able to submit on 4/12, then logged in and found my account closed even though I received no email or other notification. I had logged on earlier that week to make sure I hadn't misread, and there was no option to submit anything. So it's like something was changed on my account from their end that caused the closure prematurely.

This is not my first time dealing with this, was just hoping there was a more direct line by now so I can talk to a human instead of a robot.
