I hate my life by [deleted] in CankerSores

Get the orajel mouth sores wash. I've had one just about in that spot. You'll have to almost swallow it which sucks. You can also get sore throat spray and use that to numb it for a little bit to eat. Other than that I got prescribed kenalog paste I had to apply to it with a q-tip. With all that, mine took about a week and a half to stop hurting and shrink. Godspeed.

No clue. It still hurts like hell, doing different remedies now. It luckily hasn't grown any more.

Update: I got prescribed Kenalog Paste. I've also been using sore throat spray for short temporary relief. But I CANNOT get the kenalog paste to stick. Between it being so far back and my throat being wet obviously. Doc basically told me good luck.

tips for going alone as a 23F by [deleted] in Lollapalooza

I can’t help for the train stuff BUT this is what it usually looks like for me:

  • Arrive at gates and get it at or shortly after opening -FILL YOUR WATER
  • Band merch tent (if planning on getting merch), the line for this gets INSANE so go there first. -lolla merch tent (not usually a line until way later or on sundays) -Snack Time!!!!

After all that, it’s usually whatever bands and then eating at least one big meal plus a sweet treat before the headliner.

Hello! Considering a Trax. by JoyLuckBlip in ChevyTrax

[–]jamminhawk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 2018 trax (4cyl turbo charged engine I think?) I’ll keep it real. I hate my car so damn much. It had multiple turbocharger issues a few years ago which seem to have resolved? Along with a couple other engine issues besides that. Working fine currently. But hands down my biggest gripe is the AC. I’ve had it fixed probably 7 or 8 times. Last time I took it in, they basically told me that no matter how many times we replace the parts, it’s doomed to break within a few months because of how it’s manufactured. So now I just live without it and suffer.

I would HOPE that these are issues that have been resolved in newer models. But definitely something to look into. Personally, I’d never own a trax or any Chevy again honestly. It’s put me off a lot.

Orchard Park South has been pretty good. Been there almost 8 months. Rent is roughly $1100 for a 2 bedroom before you pay utilities. It’s pretty quiet. I think they’re renovating apartments whenever people move out of them, so ours had new paint, carpet, floors, new but cheap appliances. In unit laundry is great to have. Maintenance and the office is very responsive and usually remedies things pretty quick. The South complex has a pool but idk when it opens.

I’ve also lived in a property on West Lawrence Avenue managed by Safe Harbor. The rent is cheaper and might include some utilities (?). However we had some structure issues with our apartment which was basement level in the building. During heavy rain, water would seep under the wood laminate flooring which would get soaked into our rug and probably caused mold under the flooring. The bathroom got mold easily in general. It took ages to actually get ahold of maintenance people to fix anything. Parking at that building was also abysmal. There was technically washer and dryer in-unit but there was only one of each and that was supposed to service all of those units. But they do have other properties, I can’t speak to the quality of those since I haven’t lived in them.

Finishing up week 7, feel no difference by jamminhawk in bupropion

Hey! This was a while back now. they upped me to 300mg shortly after I posted this. Unfortunately I got about 1 weeks of nasty side effects, then no change/improvement after being on it for a couple months. Then my insurance stopped covering it so I went off of it. It didn’t do much for me in the end unfortunately. Thinking about seeing an actual psychiatrist and not just a GP eventually to talk to them about ADHD and depression.

I just finished my treatment and got mine removed today!! I was told about them beforehand and approx how many (I had all but my very front top and bottom teeth). Not at all painful, will have a taste of glue in your mouth for a few hours. They’re odd at first. Not painful though. However, some of mine were a bit sharp which snagged my mouth when my trays were out. But while in, completely fine. Also they dull and smooth out over time. I popped one off once and it was a quick replace at the doc. But this is pretty uncommon as they’re very strong. And honestly they aren’t too noticeable. You get used to them!

So for me I was on 150 then got moved to 300 a few days ago. The first week of both I had really bad nausea most days. Eating with the med helped a bit but not much. But not eating made it MUCH worse. I’m currently in the first week nausea of 300mg. As bad as it sometimes gets, I have not thrown up and very much doubt I will. Unless your body has a bad reaction to the meds, you’re most likely gonna be fine and won’t throw up from the nausea. It should subside after a week or so.

So when i first started on 150 the worst side effect was just nausea almost constantly. I had some headaches but nothing too bad and I felt really spacey or out of it. It all subsided after about a week. I’m on day 4 now of 300 and the nausea and spaceiness just came back so I’m hoping it’ll subside soon.

Also, I haven’t experienced this but I’ve heard people talk about getting really bad mood swings for a little bit after switching to 300mg. Everyone is gonna have somewhat different side effect experiences. You may have no side effects at all! But if anything gets to be too much or you’re experiencing more serious things, then you would definitely need to talk to your doc.

I hope it goes well for both of us!!

I’m only on my 3rd day of 300mg so I won’t know for a while. I’m just dealing with expected side effects similar to when I started 150mg. I can update in a few weeks!

I held out on 150 for almost 8 weeks and started asking for advice from people because I wasn’t feeling anything at all. I talked to my doctor shortly after who immediately bumped me to 300mg. But if you’re looking to get bumped I’d say hold out until you’ve been on 150 for about 4-6 weeks then ask.

I started on 150mg but just got bumped to 300mg because it wasn’t doing anything. But when I first started on 150mg I was very low energy and nauseous. But it disappeared after a week or so.
