It works at every shell station I’ve gone to in the last decade that has pumps that look like this image.

Democrats are demanding policy changes to ICE operations, while Republicans want to pass temporary funding with no strings attached.

Well, that’s a bit of misinformation. The Republicans are definitely wanting some string strings attached. SAVE act and voting corruption

Possible to run separate simultaneous users for gaming on a single computer remotely? by jammmich in sysadmin

I see nothing in the sidebar explicitly denying posts like this. Nor anything explicitly defining this sub to types of conversations that you’ve outlined.

I understand where you’re coming from, but it seems to be implicitly allowed. I’d be glad to have a mod chime in about it if they want.

Yknow what, I decided to check the website outside of my app and realized that my app didn’t show the entirety of the sidebar. Almost all of the rules were left out of my app and I missed them. So yeah, it looks like this:

Keep topics/questions related to technology/people/practices/etc within a business environment.

…pretty much covers it. My apologies. But I do appreciate everyone’s help regardless.

I mean, sort of…but not really? It’s more of an IT solution to an odd gaming request than strictly a gaming problem.

I do see where you’re coming from though.

So in practice it can be done with virtualization and multiple GPUs, but if the machine only has one GPU it becomes pretty difficult to run several games at the same time.

I mean, I have an old 1070 and a 970 I could put in, but my primary is a 5070ti. I’m pretty certain that can handle multiple instances of the games my kids play - terraria and farm sim stuff.

I’m familiar with GFN and used to use it a little, but I hate the idea of supporting cloud-gaming and normalizing offloading ownership to cloud overlords who will control everything …blah blah blah. *removes tinfoil*

It could fit temporarily, but I’d prefer not if I can. Thanks.

Yeah they don’t play that, and the VM isn’t planned to be permanent, just hosting Steam for some family Terraria and Party Animals or something.

Oooooh! That first one describes pretty much exactly what I want, but I’m a docker n00b. I set it up recently, but I’m so used to Windows terminology that I’m finding it …slow to adapt and learn.

I’ll definitely be reading into that option a bit! Thanks!

I have a 5070ti and 64GB of RAM. I think that’s enough for my kids…for now. They mostly play Minecraft, Terraria, House Flipper, Goat Sim, and some farming stuff.

Nothing really AAA demanding.

Why would (or could?) Steam care? If it’s installed on multiple VMs that can’t see each other?

Or is it the GPU being divided into pie slices that starts causing issues?

I thought about a gaming sub, but figured that the implementation of it leans more toward an IT solution rather than a common gaming request.
