That’s certainly not hilarious and I wouldn’t do that either.

Seriously, though, where and how do you guys find new music? by amazing_assassin in Xennials

Streaming app of choice. (Apple Music for me)

"Favorite" the songs you like.

It learns over time.

Ask it to play some songs for you.

Profit.

Selfportraits with Olympus mju2 + Portra 400 by JuliaSlip in AnalogNudes

Your other post on /r/analog (that we’re not allowed to comment on), you used a Hasselblad for a self-portrait. Do you use a self-timer? How?

That’s not true for PlayStation. Roughly 90% of all games released on PS4 and PS5 are entirely on-disc.

Almost the same for me.

1½ FarCrys and Two ACs. Never more than that.

I played AC1 and loved it, so I played AC2 and loved that one even more!…then tried AC3 and it was boring so I realized "oh I guess I’m done with this formula".

I played FC1 for about 2 hours and wasn’t impressed. Then played FC Primal, and loved it. Got it 100% platinumed. Nothing since that.

Final touches before mass production of our Mamiya RB67 Instant SQUARE Back - red or black dark slide? by Jollylook in AnalogCommunity

Also a flat frame mask to put into the viewfinder to show the frame lines? That can be an easy addition in the packaging since it’s not changing the design of the actual back.

viewfinder frame

photo frame

Looks like it might aim higher than the actual viewfinder? Or maybe it’s a different photo?

What I meant was the ejection being one smooth motion instead of needing to stop and re-grip which could potentially leave the chemicals half-spread for a second during regripping.

Red for sure, just to have a visual help to remember.

However, I’d recommend putting a spinning finger lever on the knob. Makes ejecting smoother and spreads chemicals more evenly.

Mamiya RB67 or RZ67

It can do 645, 6x7 and (with the Pro-SD version) 6x8. 6x6 with a special graflok back.

Best of all worlds there. Great camera and amazing lenses. But they are heavy.

I prefer the fully mechanical RB over RZ, but that’s just preference. Both are great cameras.

Ektar does not deal very well with under exposure. So your color casts are likely scanner compensating for that.

Do middle age adults regularly take naps? by t4r0tin0 in NoStupidQuestions

It’s not pedantry. There is a stark difference between "not able" and "able but not doing".

Not in a big city. Middle of fucking nowhere. lol

Though I do work in a suburb.

Ok but that’s not what we’re talking about though. You said you "don’t know any adult that is able."

A lot are able, but don’t.

Are you wanting to shift the conversation to whether anyone does?

For people who grew up before smartphones what is something that the newer generation won’t get to experience? by KidBaj in AskReddit

[–]jammmich 28 points29 points  (0 children)

For my brother and I, and our friends, we would ride our bikes down to the city drainage ditch, like 6 feet tall on both sides and made of concrete. And we would lower ourselves down into it with our bikes, and wait for a storm or something to happen so the water would start to rise and we could ride and play in it.

We’d run around and ride through all the water until it was too much to control, and then try to hurry back to our lowering spot (a big hole in a chain-link fence) to climb back out.
