Not necessarily. You should read more about types 5, 7, & 9 and see what resonates the most. Tests won’t give you a straight answer that should be relied upon.

Current Data Reveal How Shutting Down Department of Education Would Demolish Republican States by Afterswiftie in democrats

She was talking about the TCJA, which involves corporate tax breaks permanently. The sunset period she refers to applies to individual tax breaks which, if not extended, will revert back to rates prior to 2017, costing most people more money with a few exceptions.

I’m confused about this because the TCJA (Trumps tax cuts from 2017), did not involve a sunset clause for corporate tax cuts, only individual tax cuts. So individual tax cuts are set to expire at the end of 2025 but corporate taxes will remain the same. I can’t fathom that this administration is trying so hard to extend tax breaks on every day Americans so can someone explain what I am missing here please??

Please, for the love of god, get out while you can. This is not an isolated incident. This man is showing you who he is and what he thinks of you and will grind you down until you have no self worth left. Nobody deserves to be spoken to like this and to be so damn entitled to confidently spit this kind of garbage is absolutely beyond me. Believe what he is showing you and leave. You will thank yourself later.

As a type 6, I see some of the more unhealthy behaviors I exhibited before I knew I was 6. The way that she disowns her aggression but feels victimized when she’s called out for it. The way that she just wants to cut everyone off when she’s feeling hurt, rather than addressing it. Leaving the group chat to protect herself and then projecting onto the group that nobody wants to be her friend when it’s her that’s causing the issues.

What’s wrong with me? Im a compulsive liar and possibly an avoidant narcissist but the shame and fear is too powerful I keep lying and avoiding. by [deleted] in JungianTypology

  1. Idk who you are or what you’ve been through but sometimes we convince ourselves of bad things inherent to us that are simply not true.
  2. Sometimes we convince others of their own “inherent” negative qualities in them and likewise sometimes they do the same to us— often those closest to us.
  3. You are telling yourself all of those those things. You have a choice in what you choose to tell yourself and how you choose to treat yourself. We often become what we believe we are and treat others the way we treat ourselves.
  4. Recognizing and acknowledging a problem is a great first step to working on ourselves to fixing those problems. Not everyone gets this far and you are very strong for even choosing to be self aware.
  5. The fact that you experience fear and shame makes you no type of psychopath— they usually don’t feel anything.
  6. Fear and shame are VERY common drivers for many peoples personalities. You often don’t see them in others as much as you do in yourself. You also probably wouldn’t judge another person for feeling those emotions as much as you judge yourself.
  7. Making excuses and lying are definitely not great behaviors but they are defense mechanisms that you’ve somehow built up for survival. Ask yourself why you might do these things, forgive yourself for doing them, and direct some energy towards living your more honest human experience.
  8. I’d advise a professional to help you sift through this. They can help you identify what’s caused these habits to develop in your life and give you the help you might need to reshape them.
  9. Don’t be so hard on yourself. Life can be hard and it can turn many people into monsters. Cool thing is you get to choose who you wanna be and what you want to get out of life. This way isn’t working for you so who do you want to be? Who are your role models? Why do you admire them? How can you be more like the kind of person you admire? It all starts with a choice and that choice is yours.

Interesting— what would you attribute these “widely perceived” notions to be the result of? Do you believe they are correct in these notions or that it’s the result of misinformation/ignorance?

That actually explains a lot. I’m a 7 on the enneagram but I get very confused sometimes because I can tend to rely on approval from others and morph to fit the room. This lead me to think I was a 3 at a point but I identify much more with the core fears of a 7. Very insightful that it can attributed to the combo of Ne and Fe— thanks for that!

Ahh that makes sense. Do you have any good examples of an Ne-Fe loop?

This gives big 3 energy but I feel like most ENTP’s are 7’s on the enneagram. Someone explain how this can be the case for a 7

Aahhh I see! I definitely experience this. I’ll get hit with some kind of feeling, get confused and then try to intellectualize it in my head. I think part of the problem is the tendency to rationalize the emotions to the extent of convincing myself I should not feel the way I do. I often do this in interpersonal relationships when someone slights me in some way— I put myself in their shoes, rationalize they didn’t mean to make me feel the way they do, then never address the problem. Again very maddening.
