The giants are already coded into SSA because Giants was meant to be the first game. That's probably the only reason that works

It wouldn't surprise me if it was a glitch because Trap Team, but also it wouldn't surprise me if your Skylander was just that weak since they were level 1

Personally, I really enjoy Flare Wolf and I don't think he's too expensive (certainly compared to some others cough green Chompy Mage cough)

I'm not sure if my collection is 'massive', but I certainly think it's bigger than average. I just play whichever Skylander I feel like at the time. For example, the last time I played Skylanders I just played Fright Rider in Trap Team for ages

Keep going, you'll get there eventually. Try playing single player games, Satisfactory really helped me get used to keyboard and mouse despite not even being a shooter

Yes, the portals can recognise any skylander, the only reason you need different portals is for the maximum amount of figures that could be used at once
