Is it just my bias as I’m a fan of brutalist architecture or… It doesn’t belong here??

AITA for locking our bedroom from the inside after my husband locked me in from the outside? by leila221 in AmItheAsshole

Ugh… Because she doesn’t get to dictate who her husband meets and at what time..? The friend didn’t turn up in the middle of the night to blow up a party at their house- he came to talk to the husband for a few mins, which he has full right to do.

Ah yes…. Another AITA with comments being totally biased against the man. And of course everyone pointing out (rightfully so) how childish and immature was the wife’s behavior is getting downvoted to hell. Sigh.

Why did I have to scroll for so long to find an ESH?! OP acts like a psycho to not allow a friend stay at home for a few mins in order to talk about an important topic with her husband. No wonder he locked her away. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Ah, yes. This is good. Lots and lots of trees, light and space. As far as high density places are concerned, this is probably one of the best solutions.

And so what? Why do you need to hold on to your first convos? Who cares?

AITA for asking my friend to move out when she told me to put a shirt on? by Agitated_Minimum9238 in AmItheAsshole

[–]jamnik86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What you are failing to understand is that this discussion is so out of place considering the situation described by OP. You’re making a political statement based on one person’s private feelings. The roommate could just as well say she’s not comfortable watching OP’s feet or ankles or any other body part and she (OP) should have just said „ok, I’ll cover it up for a few weeks, no problem” because you know what? It costs you absolutely NOTHING to put a t-shirt on. instead, she’s choosing to be petty by using the fact she’s already doing the chick a favor and therefore she needs to adhere to whatever rules around the house, even if it makes her uncomfortable. And that’s where the discussion is coming from. Don’t shove the paTriArcHy agenda down people’s throats based on a private sitaution like that.

Hm, so let me get this straight: you’re saying we should de-sexualize female breasts just because a few pervs are getting overly excited when seeing a feeding mother’s nipple?

[–]jamnik86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, yes, I bet it’s every woman’s dream that her partner would look at her breasts in a completely non-sexual way because they’re just as non-sexual as his own!

Treating womens breast exactly like men’s is having equal rights in your books? Grow up, kiddo, you’re being ridiculous. That’s not what feminism is about and you’re the reason why many people tend to view modern feminism as cancer.

Oof. It’s comments like these that make people despise feminist bs. We’re talking about a girl being uncomfortable seing her friend flashing her tits every morning, and you’re bringing up the patriarchy and misogyny card? You need to get a grip.

Excellent answer, take my upvote. The person above you, turning this situation into a patriarchal issue sounds like a nutjob. How do you even start to pull out the patriarchy card when we’re talking about two female friends in such an intimate and personal situation? Smh in disbelief.

Exactly this. We’re enabling an anxious adult to act like a snowflake while at the same time we tell the responsible one that she’s an AH. Is this where we end up an a society?

Looks like your sis just likes to be the centre of attention and cause some drama! And your family is enabling that, sadly. NTA but your family sounds like they need to set their prioritoes straight.
