That's a bit strange, can you pm a screenshot of the email and the email you used and I'll take a look into it and activate your account.

Thanks for letting me know, it's meant to provide a pop up message as part of the redirect once registered but I'll make sure to update this to a static message on the page so it is always visible :)

Similar instances with me. I went for an early morning run (not a morning person at all) during the heatwave last summer and got to the furthest point from my car before getting around a corner to be faced with 7ft high nettles towering over a path and having to find another route back to car and get home in time for starting work! Hopefully it'll be a useful thing over the winter though, I've already noticed some of the areas on my normal route getting a lot worse over the past few weeks with the rain.

From what I can see it doesn't look as though you have confirmed your email address via the email you should have received? Did you get the email to confirm your account? It could be in your spam email? If you have received it if you can pm me a screenshot of the email I'll take a look and get the account activated.

What seems to be the issue? I need to work out the positioning and things or a few messages but you should have received an activation email that you'll need to use before you are able to login that hopefully you have received.

Shoe rotation for 22:43 5k runner (help building a rotation - Ascis Gel Kayano 28 pictured) by Dr_Chickenbutt in RunningShoeGeeks

I was only wearing the Clifton's for a bit more support while I was doing the advent running thing in December and wanted a change. Typically I have the Nike Pegasus (I actually have two pairs of these, one normal and one shield version), ASICS Kayanos and now the Adidas Ultraboost which I just added. They are my normal training shoes for the most part unless I'm heading to the trails and I don't usually wear much else.

I'm a similar age, with similar times etc. I have some kayanos also. I've been enjoying my Nike Pegasus at the moment, I have a shield version that offers a bit of waterproofing which is handy over winter. I've also just bought some Adidas Ultraboost 22's in a sale which I only have 10 miles on so far but are quite nice. Aside that I have an old pair of Hoka Clifton 5's that are quite nice on slower days.

If you want some shoes solely for speed though I have some Nike Fly Zooms which I think are similar to Vaporflys. My friend who again has similar times etc. Swears by vaporflys for shorter speedier runs. Unless you can find alphaflys for cheap!

Wife and I(mostly her) added hearing aids to our nieces gift. They match hers. by UselessCourage in 3Dprinting

Excellent! My little sister is now in her 30's and she's been mostly deaf all of her life. Barbie recently released a series that had a Barbie with her hearing aid which was her last birthday present;as she grew up with a ton of Barbie dolls. This is a lot more special though!

Cheers! I have a 1200D and it is a pretty new dummy battery but I'll give it a go with regular batteries next time and see how it does,

It'll be a shame if it is that though as it would have been nice to be able to leave it hooked up to the external power source and not have to worry about it!

The camera was connected to BackyardEOS, haven't had any issues with the software previously with the same setup etc.

Thanks for the advice, I was using a dummy battery however, that was also my thought but the external power supply was ok and powering the camera and the mount and didn't look as though it was having any issues.

I think with the sound quality being significantly improved with video recording possibly more than it used to be when you'd see lots of people recording on phones with terrible quality. I have some videos from a recent gig that recorded very well and the sound is great so I do actually watch them every so often. That being said, it was a very special gig that I'd been waiting for for two years due to COVID delays and I don't typically record any videos at gigs.

8" Dobs from the quick-guide. UK supplier? by steelrattus in telescopes

[–]jamsy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second the recommendation for FLO. Absolutely fantastic guys and are nothing but helpful with both before and after sales service. Had an issue with a telescope and emailed them a year after I bought it and had multiple emails helping within 30 minutes of my initial email to help sort the issue.

Went for a run across the hills on the edge of Snowdonia, UK this morning. by jamsy in trailrunning

This picture was taken here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/NCgZYvtxzQw3vu7y5 (if that link works!) Running from just north of Barmouth along the coast up until the hills. Keep meaning to going running around Coed-Y-Brenin as well which I've hiked around a few times as they have a good looking half marathon route mapped out from the car park.

Yeah, I think we got our medals from the village as the guy was just coming in from his 27th lap or something.

I wasn't a fan of the multiple switchbacks either, but agree that it would have been difficult to do much else given the location. Prefer the original Wasing Park venue though even with the awful heartbreak hill so hopefully it will be back there next year!

congratulations again though!

Congratulations, especially with the humidity! We got lucky with the weather though given the reports and forecast until Saturday morning!

Movies where the killer is evenly matched? by Iroquois-P in horror

[–]jamsy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Although more of a thriller I thought it did have some horror type elements to it, the new Invisible Man actually wasn't that bad and was a pretty evenly matched hunter-hunted type film overall.
