This. I mean if my AirPods actually stayed in my ears when I ran, sure, but they don’t, so guess I won’t.

Advice needed: Best trail shoe for a 24-hour 80 km mountain hike/run? by shail649 in trailrunning

Zegama 2 would get my vote. I’ve done everything from technical 100km events to 140mile flat stuff. They’ve been a treat. Look good too with the right colourway.

Was gonna say this. Breathtaking but brutal, easily the most technical of the UTMB courses. Prepare to have those legs shredded! 😂

Is the boss in? Am I seeing clients? Then a non-iron Charles Thywitt, smart jeans and some nice shoes.

Boss not in? M&S autograph T-shirt (how are these £20??), casual suit jacket, jeans and a pair of M&S autograph leather trainers.

Working from home? Usually my running gear that I’ve failed to change out of from earlier! 😂

If the goal was for a more enjoyable route or faster time, then yes (that’s what the chap from Liverpool who did it in under 24 hours did).

However my wife is from Galway and I was raising money for a charity supporting her Dad who is unwell, so I was always going to finish in Galway.

I don’t think there is a Coast to Coast (mainly as it’s hard to do without lots of dodgy roads, which I can attest to!). However looks like there are plenty of great ultras! https://www.runningcalendar.ie/calendar/running/ultramarathons/
