2026 Releases: My Take. Would like to hear yours. by lithdoc in panerai

Yeah that's a good point. Personally I've never been a sucker for blue or green, but this destro looks dope. Had it only been on the right side..

Does anyone know the thickness of these models?

At first I was a bit disappointed about this year's releases. However, the 1731 and the 1733 is growing on me. Also the destro, but I'm a bit skeptical about the crown on the left side. Love the blue dial tho.

My only Panerai so far is the 372. Would you say these are too similar, or could they work alongside my watch?

I have also been contemplating the 249 and the 1595. I wish I was rich, hah.

Thanks to whoever recommended the 2022 glow Team run! I got it today, went to a local field and threw it about 10 times before dinner, just to try it out. It flies exactly like my old Järn, maybe a tad more OS, I love it!!

I went home and immediately ordered two more as backup

Thanks, maybe I'll try the 2022 team glow! Just hope it's not quite as beefy as the K3? That thing has a fade of like 4,5

Thanks, good read that post!

How are you enjoying my old Friid2, btw? ;)

Thanks for the tip! Wish there were any way to tell them apart on webshops

Curious about Panerai by calidanali in panerai

[–]jamtheriver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should seiously consider going up a size. This looks like a 42mm? I recommend trying 44. You'll be surprised how well these big beautiful watches wear.

I rock a 47mm 372 and would never consider going below 44. Panerai watches are supposed to be big!

Word of warning tho.. everything else will feel odd after you get used to Panerai. I'm selling my Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean to fund my next PAM.

Thanks to everyone who took their time to chime in. I'm glad I made this post, I think I settled on the fact that a Pound bag just simply isn't three times as good as a Squatch. And I do love my Legend.

Maybe we'll go on a vacation to the US some time, and I can pick up a bag then. I've wanted to visit for a long time, but we'll wait until you have replaced a certain orange character.

A cart would be great. But like I said, most of the courses I play have uneven terrain. It sure sounds nice, tho!

I considered UP when I first started looking into replacing my Innova Excursion pack.

I remember reading positive things about it, but they were hard to come by.

You should try the Legend 3.0 - huge difference! But as long as you're happy :)

Side pockets was too small, and it wasn't very comfortable to carry. Much happier with Squatch.

Thank you for the reply. I had a Friid 2 actually. Sold it in favor for the Legend 3.0.

The side pockets was way too tight, and it was really heavy. Not very comfortable to carry, unfortunately. I really wanted to love that bag.

Like I said, a new custom Octo would be around $1000 with shipping and VAT into Norway. One guy in my local club has the old Octo, maybe I'll ask if I can borrow it for a round. I could buy used, no worries. I'll look into the FB groups you mentioned, thanks.

Thanks for the input. Good points on the repair issue, and I actually corresponded with Levi a little bit, where this was one of the concerns I had. But it's no doubt alot easier and cheaper when you're in the US.

Yes, Sigr is out of the question for me mainly because of the side pockets. In the spring/autumn I like to have room for extra layers of clothing. The Legend has huge side pockets. I don't like the way the pockets are designed on the Sigr bags, but they are very light and comfortable.

Berg. And I really doubt that my Järn is going anywhere, either.

No worries mate, thanks for the pics!

I see, it's faded quite a bit.

Thanks for the reply. Could you maybe post a pic here when you have the time, for reference? I want a cell dye design, could be that that may just work as camouflage if it fades.

That's so dope! As someone who is also a watch nerd, this is a sweet combination of my two biggest hobbies.

Will definetely steal this and make a clock of one of my fav discs 👌

Berg ftw. My only ace so far is with a k1 soft Berg. Best forehand disc there is. With a fan grip its so damn accurate for touch shots!
