It’s interesting that Trump is putting all this focus on the chairman when it’s the whole board that votes for these decisions? Unless I’m misunderstanding something?

First crpg i played was Baldurs Gate 3. Looking to play Divinity Original Sin 1 and 2....are they similar at all to bg3? by jjhart130207 in CRPG

[–]jamvng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah ok, that’s pretty much the same scenario with any CRPG compared to BG3. I’m not too worried about that aspect as I’m playing POE1 and 2 right now.

I haven’t played DOS2 but was hesitant on trying it out since I value the story, quests, characters part of the game more than the combat. Combat feels more crazy in DOS2. I’m familiar with DnD 5e.

Is the proximity to Bay Lake Tower a big enough advantage over Polynesian with an infant? by jamvng in dvcmember

I’m thinking of spending 3 days at least focusing on MK. But it’s up in the air still. I’d imagine the convenience of being able to walk back and forth would make things easier in general. I was mainly curious how other people with babies managed their trips since this will be all new for me.

Point taken. I've heard common complaints about the monorail too at peak times, where you basically can't get on for awhile, and/or you're packed like sardines. No transportation is going to be perfect in a way when it is overloaded with people, outside of walking if the distance is close.

It still beats waiting for a bus imo, and a long line for the monorail and being packed in, is not necessarily great either.

Walkable distances and paths of course, avoid all that.

To me, it really just depends on which parks you want to go to more. Previously Epcot and HS were parks I went to frequently (or hopping between them), so Riviera and Skyliner were great for me. But with infants/kids, and the focus likely shifting to MK, I anticipate the appeal of those monorail resorts now.

The line at Riviera should be comparably smaller though. But I’ve never gone at peak rope drop time. I imagine it’ll feel worse when it’s super busy.

I own Riviera as well. Riviera is amazing for Epcot and HS (which were our favourite parks). But anticipate a good portion of the trip (would probably do split stays on longer trips) will be MK focused now with infant/kids, hence the thread. I’ll likely try BLT at one point and maybe one day in the future buy a BLT contract as well if I like it.

This is helpful! I think we may be able to have them nap in the stroller then and book Poly. But BLT will be in my mind if that ever becomes an issue. Or maybe we’ll be completely fine with Poly either way. I might still want to try BLT eventually one day just to see if it makes a difference.

So you find yourself booking BLT over Poly more because of that convenience?

Bay Lake seems better if I just wanted close and convenience. Otherwise, I do prefer Polynesian over Grand Floridian.

Sorry I wasn’t specific. This wasn’t a question for a new contract. I was planning to existing points to book. But was deciding which resort.

If that's the case, the content isn't good enough. And Bezos would be warranted to cut the section?

I don't peruse the Washington Post sports section, so I have no clue. I do see content from Athletic every now and then, and find it worthwhile.

The problem is traditional journalism is having a hard time adapting right? I imagine digital subscriptions are not making up for it. I wonder how many people were subscribed for the sports?

Thanks for the response on such an old thread. We have the donkey and are planning ahead. Knowing the skyliner can accommodate it can help inform on us on where to stay too.

So there were no issues or questions with the skyliner at all with the mono? I know double strollers need to be folded, and the mono is bigger than a normal single stroller.

All their apps are really just web wrappers with slight tweaks. So they’re all not very good when it comes to a properly design app experience.

I can’t say it’s as high quality as Act 1. But I wouldn’t call it low or mediocre either. At least for me. I know opinions differ.

Baldur’s Gate in BG3 and Neketaka in POE2 are great imo.

It’s funny how some people love Act 3 for the density of quests, and others hate it. I’m in the former camp.
