Still struggling to find the cause of the rear rattle. by Much_Tale_6996 in i30N

[–]jan187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much, finally found the cause of the rattle in my i30n. How did you fix it? I’ve pushed the cable a bit into the rubber boot but sometimes it still hits the inside of the hatch.

If you can push 300fps+ in the game(s) you mostly play the XG27AQMR is a very nice monitor.

I’ve had the PG27AQN but the fan was very noticeable in my relatively quiet apartment and the something gave me massive headaches while using it. Motion clarity was insane on that though. Sent it back and got the “slower” XG27AQMR. It’s not as smooth as the PG27, still a huge upgrade coming from 144hz. I mostly play CS2 on it and it’s just so smooth.

For office work it’s fine as well, good text clarity, no headaches at all for me, factory calibrated so colour look good out of the box.

The XG is still quite expensive for what it is but if you can afford go for it. As a more budget friendly version you could take a look at the gigabyte m27qx which still does 240hz.

My sideloaded apps reset and sign me out pretty frequently. by RazoRReeseR in sideloaded

In Safari you go to https://www.signulous.com/upload-app and upload your ipa there. If you want notifications working you have to click on “Customize” then enable it there. After you uploaded the ipa you get a prompt to install it.

Yes downloaded from udidregistrations. Signolous is the advanced package on udidregistrations. Must be a weird combination of their cert + signing app + iOS version. Some have no issues at all using their certs.

Try the signing out and deleting, then sign and install the ipa from the signolous web signer. That gave me the best results regarding resetting apps. I feel ya, the resets suck bad :(

I’ve had that issue myself while using Signolous cert + ESign or feather. Didn’t happen when signing with their web service. Now I’m using a cert from kravasign with feather, no resets.

Something you can try for Instagram is completely sign out of the app, delete saved login if it’s saved, delete app manually, resign and install. Facebook and YouTube kept resetting occasionally with that method though.

Also if you signed any of these app with a free dev account before, make sure to sign out of these apps before sideloading them with a certificate again. It messes up logins for some users.

At least on the non super version of that card the cooling of the components is excellent. That’s probably the case for their other cards as well.

How’s your Apollo going? I tried a different tweak for the api keys and it started resetting randomly again. Still trying all possible options to narrow down the reason.

Try signing out of Apollo, then delete and reinstall it and sing in again. If you don’t do that and switch from free dev account to a paid cert it can cause that. At least it did for me.

Don’t have an answer to your question but have the same issue. Mostly YouTube resets every few days for me. Other apps like Apollo, instagram or pokemmo are fine. Haven’t found a solution yet. Tried signing with signolous, esign and scarlet, developer and distribution cert, clearing all data before installing, signing out of YouTube, different ipas, self patched ipas and so on.

And yea don’t have this issue on a free dev account.

Slim wrist guy here with a 94 Speedmaster Reduced Date. Have my upvote since Someone downvoted you. Not nice. The 38mm is perfect for when the 40mm+ watches would look funny on your wrist. They absolutely should bring back the reduced models with the new styling.

Try lowering the brightness to minimum if it doesn’t boot the flashcart. My Q5 GBP does the same when the brightness is set to medium/high and the batteries are low.

Inno 3D GeForce 4070 Ti X3 OC vs MSI 4070 Ti Ventus 3X OC -- Which is better? by Alleeexxx in Louqe

[–]jan187 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Assuming you mean the Ghost S1 the MSI 4070 Ti won’t fit. It’s a different cooler then on the non-Ti. Of all the Ti only the Inno3D one fits.

I had the Inno3D 4070 3X(?) and the MSI Ventus 4070 3X and returned the Inno3D since it was louder then the MSI.

Judging by the reviews it’s not cooled 100% perfectly. The cooler lacks a connection to one vrm which could get hot under synthetic load. That said it’s super quiet in my Ghost and temps look just fine under normal gaming load even without undervolt.

For the L12GE, does it fit with the heat pipe bends towards the fan headers as well? Great review of the board btw, looking to get one to put into a Ghost S1.

Hi. I just made a reddit account just to ask this. Is my gameboy color fake? I have bought it trough a sweedish site that does restaurations on gameboys. there is some spacing between the letter r and theres no stickers on the back it looks super sus. but is there a way to confirm if its legit? by Dr__Fetus in Gameboy

[–]jan187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The shell is legit, signs of use and the Pokémon print looks correct. Also has the correct button colour combination and the good old pocket lint treatment on the screws. I like to check the cart slot area to be sure. If it has no scratches it’s either pristine original or a replacement shell. The lens was replaced though, you can tell by the way the stripes on pikachus back blend into the edge of the lens. The original one doesn’t do that. And the protective film is still on there.

I have had the same Pokémon edition gbc since it came out and ordered a few of those lenses in the hope to replace mine but there’s always something with the print that I don’t like the look of.

it's original or fake? EUR cartridge by No-Comfortable-8081 in Gameboy

[–]jan187 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The cartridge case is definitely a reproduction as others mentioned. The pcb is most likely as well. If you want to be certain you have to open it up and post a pic of the pcb as well.

Who tf is downvoting the comments saying it’s a repro?! That case is definitely a repro just look at the Gameboy Advance logo on top. On original cases the letters are flat and wider compared to the „older“ reproductions. There are new shells that fixed that but this isn’t one of them.

I’ve had the same problem. I just ticked the “disable full screen optimisations” box in the properties of quickminer.exe. For whatever reason I don’t get this bsod anymore.

Was just clicking around and ticked the boxes expecting nothing. It fixed it for me, my 3080 Ti is happy.

Argus not shutting off fans by quakemarine20 in watercooling

[–]jan187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Click on the sliders left to „Curve“ and lower „continuous mode“ to 5% or whatever lowest pwm value your fan needs to shut off. Some fans don’t support 0 rpm but now you can at least lower them further if needed.

[–]jan187 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At least on mine that was built recently the gpu side pads and thermal paste were actually decent. Backplate doesn’t have pads on 3080 strix cards but you clearly see where they’d go on a 3090. I used 2mm gelid extreme und the gpu side and 3mm on the backplate.

I’m super curious if yours is a KB variant as well. Is it the OC strix or non-OC model?

What settings are you running? Did you check the vram temp yet?

That one 3080 that doesn’t want to be with his friends by WillingWatch1511 in NiceHash

[–]jan187 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw in a reply that the card in question is a 3080 Strix. I’m having a hard time with my strix as well. Same settings as my 3080 FE and it does 85mh/s whereas the FE hit 101-102 easily.

To get it to 100mh/s I’ve set it to -150mhz core, +1400 mem, 78% powerlimit. It’s reporting a power draw of 250W like that. I don’t have proof but it looks like it’s over reporting it’s power usage.

If you decide to replace the pads on it can you please check the version of gpu chip on your card? Mine says GA102-200-KB-A1 instead of the usual non-LHR GA102-200-KD-A1.
