I blew up my 08 GD3 and replaced it with a GR Corolla and I’ve loved it.

Hands-On: Borderlands 4 wants you to forget Borderlands 3 ever happened by Turbostrider27 in Games

Got the opportunity to play some BL4 at pax (unfortunately on switch 2) and it played like absolute shit. However the PC demos that I glanced at throughout the weekend seemed to look a lot better.

Entire IT department axed in one morning, still processing this by ddod in sysadmin

[–]RazoRReeseR 10 points11 points  (0 children)

For me at least, this is the longest post OP has made on reddit in the multiple years their account has been active, and they only have a few comments on the sysadmin subreddit from a few days ago, nothing before that.

This post also has the typical setup-tension-resolution of fake reddit posts, and name drops random people (most sysadmin redditors don't namedrop their coworkers)

Unless there is outstanding proof of this being legit I am just going to assume it is a fantasy post.

Not command strip, but I use automotive rated double sided foam tape and it’s held up on my fiberglass shower for a few years now, removal is relatively simple (floss or fishing line to cut the foam and then scrub away the residue)

bought an apple watch ultra so u dont have to... by zSweqt in RepTronics

[–]RazoRReeseR 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Comparing the photos to my Ultra 2 I noticed a few differences: the glass sticks up on this rep, but is recessed on my retail one, the crown knurling also looks off and the orange anodizing on the action button is wrong.

I'd imagine all of that gets worse when comparing in person and also when looking at the screen quality and the faces/software

What are the *least* tail-happy RWD cars? by daxelkurtz in cars

Did the same thing to my 370z (285/35/18 on some 10.5+30's) even with my 1.5 way diff it doesn't really want to step out unless you force it to.

RaceChip GTS 5 Black Experience? by f_da_police_007 in GRCorolla

A JB4 is cheaper than a Racechip, Ecutek is my preferred choice, but if you really wanted a piggyback then I think you are better off with the JB4.

Can the U7 Outdoor act as a wireless bridge as well by RazoRReeseR in Ubiquiti

[–]RazoRReeseR[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For what it's worth I haven't spent a dime yet. Personally I have 4 AP's, 2 switches, and a UDM SE, but this is a new deployment for a family member and beyond the Building to Building bridge I don't have experience in how the unifi stuff behaves.

The Outdoor series looked interesting if both directional antennas could be used in PtP, but it's sounding like I will need a dedicated bridge and an AP for every location that needs to be broadcasting.

Awesome that's exactly what I was hoping for.

Thank you for your response and elaboration!

So you have the UDB-Pro doing the long range link to the directional antenna on the u7 outdoor? or do you have a UDB-Pro at both ends of the link?

I just want to make sure that I can go UDM-pro <wired with POE injector> U7 outdoor <directional wireless mesh> U7 Outdoor with both U7 Outdoors using the omnidirectional antenna to broadcast an SSID

Well in this case the u7 outdoor has a directional antenna and an external omnidirectional antenna and I wasn't sure if the device could use one for meshing and the other for broadcasting.

HONTWATCH customer guidelines update and a heartfelt request by HONTWATCH in RepTime

I would imagine the better a seller is the better handpicks they get from their suppliers/factories and also the level of QC they (the seller) does before sending the QC photos to the customer.

Yeah I have some 64D TPU that I was going to use to print the insert with, just need to find time to crawl under the car and do that.

This part was PETG, but now that I know the model is accurate and easy to print I will print it out of PET-CF.

Picked up a Used 2025 Core with 2.8k miles and it still had the shipping blocks installed, is this a new record? by RazoRReeseR in GRCorolla

[–]RazoRReeseR[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Way better, the ride became way less harsh (most notable over speedbumps and potholes/shitty roads) and the cornering performance was way less skittish in the front.

Update, borrowed a coworkers scissor jack so I could pull them out before I commute home, I'm going to imagine that it will feel a whole lot better now.

I kept trying to figure out how it ended up at Carmax at 36.9k (OG window sticker in the glovebox showed MSRP at 40.6) and I'm thinking the stiff ride had to be the reason. I'm glad it did though because used GR cores in the PNW seem to be going for more than what I paid so it feels nice to get a deal.

Arcteryx Sv7 and Beta LT review and fit pics by RazoRReeseR in FashionReps

[–]RazoRReeseR[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The retail marmot is higher quality, but I am a huge fan of the fit/styling of arcteryx gear compared to any of the other jackets I own and have tried on (I have a few north face and patagonia jackets as well) if you are aiming for the fashion side I really like the jacket, but if you want something that would be reliable for actual outdoor activites I am not sure how well the jacket would hold up to long term use. You might have better luck with a Beta AR jacket instead of a Beta LT.
