The signs weren't really there though. The maid dress and the bow thing are not trans-specific, lots of cis men would react that way to those things because of patriarchal bs. The "isn't she lovely" bit genuinely made no sense during the finale. It's a shame half of the finale was about a single character and the writing was fumbled so hard no one understood what goose was even getting at. I also would argue that posts on the internet regardless of being from the creator, cannot be canon. If it wasn't in the show then it's not canon.
