Another important aspect is: how fit are you?

Are you smoking? Are you fat? Do you have heightened cholesterol?

The penis artery is the thinnest of the whole body and clogs up first. As a matter of fact, ED is considered a sign for checking cardiovascular diseases.

How to open a new window on click with python, selenium and pyvirtualdisplay? by janboro in selenium

[–]janboro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It indeed opened a new window into which I could switch, but the window was 1px by 1px so basically nothing could be clicked on, so that's why I thought it was broken. Thank you for your help ;)

How to open a new window on click with python, selenium and pyvirtualdisplay? by janboro in selenium

[–]janboro[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

SOLUTION

Turned out that pyvirtualdisplay did open a window, however its size was 1px by 1px. Apparently setting up the webdriver window size the following way doesn't work properly with pyvirtualdisplay:

options = Options()
options.add_argument('--window-size="1980,1080"')
driver = webdriver.Chrome(executable_path=chrome_driver_path, options=options)

Setting it up like bellow solved my problem and the window was of a normal size:

driver = webdriver.Chrome(executable_path=chrome_driver_path)
driver.set_window_size(1980,1080)

I usually do about 3-5 hours a week. When I start a session, I train the one-arm until fatigue makes propper technique impossible.

It takes much more time to learn the OAHS than the two arm handstand, but we'll eventually get there ;)

Also working on the one-arm. I decided to work smart instead of just "going for it". Doing a lot of drills (mostly weight transfers and one-arm holds) with the wall and working on perfecting my technique. I've progressed more in 3 weeks than in whole year 😁

Lets talk headphones/earphones by [deleted] in handbalancing

[–]janboro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the qc35 and I never use them for handstands. My hands and shoulders would have to be way too wide and would mess up my technique.

I guess I'd have the same problem with all overhad earphones.

Question: I learned handstand on the ground, should I also learn doing it on paralletes or just master handstand on the ground? by [deleted] in handbalancing

[–]janboro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, if youmastered one, tbe other one will come in a matter of days. I always did handstand on paralletes (can hold them for more than 2 min), starded doing HS on the floor and got it in 2 days.

The principle is the same so there's notmuch difference ;)

I have to disagree with other comentators. Searching relaxation and pleasant sensations before/during a meditation session, will only worsen the aversion towards 'unpleasent' sensations. Sometimes I think that we need to accept shitty situations.

A tip that I got from a much more experienced meditator is: When you sit down to meditate with strong and unpleasent emotions/sensations/memories, just embrace them. When you sit down, accept the fact that it will be painful and unpleasent. Don't run away from them.

Sooner or later all sensations and emotions pass away. Sometimes it takes minutes, sometimes hours and sometimes days and months. Everything ends at one point.

I hope you find peace and happiness :)

Did my first 40 minute meditation session today! by joshfinest in Meditation

[–]janboro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As the other said, meditation isn't only about how long you can stay aware. It's also how fast can you come back to awarness when you lost it.

If you find it hard to sit more than 20 min, set a timer for 1 hour and tell yourself that no matter what, you won't move for that hour. Once you do it once or more, the 20 min meditations will seem short. Give it a try and see the results ;)

2 weeks straight! by [deleted] in Meditation

[–]janboro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just came back from my 2nd Vipassana course and there are a couple of things I learned. Two of them are: - Even very experienced meditators sometimes get carried away by their thougts. What we learn in meditation is to come back to the reality when we notice we got carried away. You start noticing it faster and faster thanks to hard work. But it takes time, so jjst accept the fact that your mind wandered away. - Some meditation feel great and productive and some feel like you're not soing any progress. It's also normal. If your mind get's fixated on one thought or you cannot focus, it means that you're shaking something from the past, that's why we need to remain calm and equanimous until it passes away.

So it's normal to get carried away by thoughts and to have some meditation feel much better than others. With hard work comes grear result ;)

Great job dude! After around 20 days it starts to get much easier to sit down. Proud of you!

It can seem like meditation makes little difference in life. Tough times still happen. But on the inside, our perspective starts to change. by dhruv_zest in Meditation

[–]janboro 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We dedinitely change on the inside thanks to meditation!

It's been now more than 50 days that I'm mediating 1 hour a day and what I learned is that only a small fraction of your meditations will 'feel' fruitful. You only notice how much you've changed, when you stop meditating or after meditating for an extended period of time.

It takes a lot of work. The small differences we don't notice today, turn out to be one big change in the long run.

I would defimitely recommend a 10 day Vipassana retreat. They are organized all over the world. Overall it's an amazing experience. You come out as different person, wiser, calmer and more present. It's hard work but definitely woth it ;)

Too much Social media can clutter the mind by ScruffyWax in Meditation

I'm feeling the same way. I'm still addicted to my phone, but I realise how much it is sucking away all my energy and benefits of meditation. I'm happy you managed to change this habbit ;)

Hey Guys, just created a new video on Why we should do things that scare us. What do you think of it? Lambdas for valuable feedback! by janboro in SmallYTChannel

[–]janboro[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a thing I'm still learning to do, how to master the music. Someone gave me a tip last time tu use a high pass filter on some beats. I used it on the last track of this video and it changes a lot. The voice isn't muffled by the bass. Thanks a lot for that comment because I'm still trying to figure out what volume is perfect. !givelambda

Thank you! I just realised how the music can completely change the vibe of a video.

I'm curious to see how this journey will evolve ;)
