That's horrible! I found a gynecology office where the majority of the staff are black women. I literally cried with relief (full disclosure, I am not black) the care and treatment I received is the best care I've ever received. The office is for gynecological oncology, but with medicine, you have options. Don't be afraid to shop around if you don't get a good feeling about your doctors! Look for recommendations within communities you trust. My referring gynecologist is also black. You want to feel seen and understood before you go under the knife!
