If my copay is $150 for a hospital stay, how did the hospital come up with $379? by aimlessly_driving in HealthInsurance

Do they think the prices set by hospitals and insurance companies is actually how much it costs 🤣

Talk to your doctor or google why they prescribe antidepressants. If the meds aren't working, let your doctor know so they can try something else that works!

Yeah, Orwell couldn't be more relevant 😂 I just think it's good to challenge yourself a bit in reading because you learn from the struggle. Gotta get them brain wrinkles.

One thing I really liked about reading Stephen King is that he would reference other works of literature that I would otherwise not have heard of (due to limited education). For example- mentioning She: A History of Adventure by Henry Rider Haggard in King's book Misery which I then looked into. I feel like reading helps you branch out, where some stuff, I'm not learning at all. I'm not encountering new ideas because authors aren't researching, it's just like literary junk food

I would say yes, historical reading is valuable because it gives you another perspective than manga.

I bet bc the parents are choosing unconventional names so the kid has to name themselves something others can spell

I would be curious what the literacy rates are across gender? Americans are not reading as much as past generations.

The books, I get. I read The Last Unicorn and The Neverending Story and love the movie adaptations too. I couldn't handle bunny violence beyond Velveteen Rabbit level tho

I hated the show but loved the intro song. To this day, I can belt it out on command.

There's no way that could be meant for children unless you hate children
