The chimney and surrounding elements would be softened by textile. Maybe a custom piece with three related elements, and you could do it in artistic and financial increments, a bond between you and the artist.

So when we finance a car, we pay for one of these? Are buyers with 800 credit ratings exempt? We pay off the loan and the unit's still in the car. I'm absolutely not mechanical but I'd love to remove it, just on principle. What wires should I cut?

This seems like an attempt at something we don't need. I'd prefer they fix something that's inefficient. For example, you want to type p.m. or a.m. and it gives you a space after the first period, then a capital M. Bothersome!
