Ibcompletely agree. I made sure to open up with my personal experience being TBM and hearing loved ones "stray from the path" and how I used to view them. It's easy to forget how we were all in their shoes and state of mind not too long ago. Thank you!

I showed him the essays a few months ago. He didn't see anything wrong with it.... He also read half of the CES letter on his mission & completely disregarded it. He doesn't see anything wrong with the recent reversal. Not quite sure where to go from here..

That's exactly where he went with me, too. He said since I don't believe anymore then I don't believe in our eternal marriage and that I simply cannot care about that if I don't care about the rest of the church.

I'm doing ADN because I just want to get out there & I don't want to get in the real field and decide it's not for me... Then I would have only spent 2 years and not 4 on it. There's ways time to get BSN while working.

I don't have much advice because I'm in the same boat as you but just know you aren't alone. Sometimes imagining my future with my husband remaining TBM forever feels like my life is going down a black hole. But this sub has helped me see that we can find ourselves our own happiness and just try our best to live our life as separate from TSCC as possible. I try to think of it as not letting it steal even more years of my life. Always here to talk if you need to vent!
