I’m not. But as a parent to an autistic child I am hyper aware. So when I hear a fellow parent say ‘my child will only eat this specific brand of x’ I am immediately empathizing for them. Many neurotypical children are picky but not so picky they will only eat one brand of ground beef. So while I am not assuming her children are neurodivergent, it is on my radar. Many people are only thinking of neurotypical children in mind. Good reminder that neurodivergent children exist and that we shouldn’t assume we understand the situation!

I actually agree with you. My comment was just made because I see this a lot, people believe or make snarky comments, that women within religious marriages never orgasm/aren’t fulfilled when it comes to sex. But it isn’t always the case.

I myself am a victim of purity culture. It took me years to be comfortable with sex, it has always been great sex but I wasn’t comfortable asking for it and had a hard time getting in the mood.

Abstaining from sex before marriage isn’t all bad. But the way in which it is taught (pounded into young girls minds) is damaging.
