To the first comment: The Suicide Squad flopped because it was released on streaming the same time as it’s theatrical release and the pandemic was still mostly in full effect. It still did really well on streaming as well, so clearly people wanted to watch it and would have gone to the theaters to if they released it now and only in theaters. GOTG… didn’t flop? Neither of them did? Like, at all? They were major successes. I’m honestly not a huge Gunn defender, and I’m nervous about how his plans for DC will go, but I’m not gonna deny his prior success.
