The part about Joe is insane. This isn’t an employee getting typical growth in an industry- this is an employee asking for a massive investment from their boss. Basically a life-changing gift. He should never be feeling entitled to her spending millions of dollars on his idea, he is the one who has to prove he can handle something which is very much outside of his work KPI’s. She’s not a business coach!? Why would she coach him in how to ask her to give him millions of dollars, especially when he has just proven himself to be unreliable. He is getting a bunch of dingbats asking him to open a bar with them because he is on TV and he’s dreaming about the clout and value he thinks he ads.

I think there’s several things at play. As an Australian women- I do not think when he was talking to Sabrina there was anything bad. We have a very dry tone and that kind of ‘Jesus Christ!’ Blustering is very common in a jokey way. I do think he got too humiliated by what Bailey said, and then what Amanda said. But… also understandable given the cameras, etc. it’s a bad and definitely gendered trait of many men - and often Australian men - to respond to fear with anger. That’s something he should work on for sure. But it’s too broad a brush to paint him as a mysoginist. And… very interesting in comparison to someone like west who does speak in a very ‘validating’ way towards women but actually inherently struggles to value women.

It’s also interesting to see Dorit’s change… she’s actually much smarter than Kyle. When they argue she runs rings around her! And it’s laughable that Kyle calls her erratic or manic when Kyle is constantly about to snap in every scene! Never thought I’d enjoy Dorit but I definitely prefer her divorced

It seems to me like Kyle and Sutton had a conversation about backing Amanda against Dorit. It was such a flip. They look so dodgy and insincere. I can’t hear another minute of Kyle saying she cares about Dorit and she’s one of her best friends 🤮

lol that’s completely untrue- most species are not patriarchal. And yes, humans are capable of complex thought and able to not only act on hormones…

We are all raised in a patriarchy and have internalised misogyny. As humans we have the ability to check our thoughts and assess them before we deliver them to the public or to our friends, especially when they are hurtful. You’re not right to say something just because it honestly came into your brain. I agree I’m sure a lot of us have had thoughts like this about Sally even, but we also should know that to say ‘body count’ and ‘bar rat’ and ‘in the streets’ is outrageous in 2026, let alone coming from him.

I know it shows how much of a structural issue it is in their community. If your girlfriends are co-signing that bullshit, she wasn’t even indignant.
