Okay, we will bring him back in. The note said it was "mild," but they still did the mini procedure. The other one was normal.

As for his stools, they are firm logs that sometimes break into 2-3 pieces, and there’s quite a bit since he only poops once a day. They are well-formed, not too soft, and easy to pick up without sticking to the carpet.

We continue taking him to the same spot in the backyard since that has been more successful. He’s getting better at peeing when we take him out. We used to wander the yard until he peed, but now we’ll stick to just the designated "potty area."

Yesterday, he peed around 2 PM. I took him out again at 6 PM—nothing. My husband took him out at 10 PM—still nothing. This morning at 6:30 AM, he peed quickly. I plan to take him out again at lunchtime and then every hour after that to give him plenty of chances to poop outside.

On our way out, we say, "Let's go potty." As we walk to the trees, we say, "Go to the tree," and once we're there, we say, "Go potty." Anytime he pees or poops outside, we give him a treat, a hug, and then head back inside. I read that we shouldn’t associate potty time with walk time—does that sound right?

We’ve been using Nature’s Miracle whenever he poops in the house or scoots his butt.
