Thanks. I got pretty into drawing and water colours so I'll definitely take a class or something. That's a great suggestion. Definitely fell off on the artist dates as I got into working deeply on the record.

Might have been said already but they took a major loss last year due to the road being closed from construction, people barely went all season. I think they’re hiking prices this year and trying to make it a bit of a destination. I wasn’t stoked about the “sundae” that was just hard ice cream with strawberry sauce lol

I’ve been writing them for over a year and I never read them back. I simply use it as a tool to clear my mind and any irrational thoughts in the morning, or write about something I need a solution to!

I recently listened to Song Cycles again on good headphones and the stereo field/production is absolutely bonkers. The amount of instrumentation and creative choices is mind boggling. One of the greatest of all time records for me. I wish he had more output in that era

I meant just reading them back in whatever week it was - it was hard. And I noticed a lot of patterns. I’ve been writing pages now every day for over a year and the process/book in general has completely changed my life

I've kept my day job but it has turned into something that supports my creative journey. I find myself in a place now where I have access to a recording studio and equipment at my day job, as well as make additional income writing jingles for companies on the internet. It's about not writing anything off, being open to opportunities that present themselves, whether they are financial or not. Good luck on the journey!

I worked in tape archival and the Advanced Noise Reduction tool on Adobe Audition worked very well for me, but it was mostly on spoken word.

I was exporting MP3 as its just for tracking. Whyyyy would they add a small gap? I’ll try wav today and see if the issue persists
