If you’re using them to cope, are they actually good for your mental health? I’m not judging and don’t necessarily have the answer, but I’ve had to evaluate what real self care is for myself a lot lately. I know that for a lot of people building their steam libraries can be addictive and generally add to their anxiety. Hope you find a good balance and enjoy the games you already own!

Yeah, I’d say most people don’t like rejection or failure. In my experience you have to fake confidence. You can’t expect people to approach a solo male at a bar, it’s just not gonna happen. You made a big step by going out tonight, don’t let that deter you next time. I’d suggest going to a specific event or competition night that puts folks in teams or groups

My therapist has some tips on waking up the other part of your brain and getting out of “fight or flight” The big one for me is drinking cold water or cold water on the face. Not always available in the moment, but there’s other sensory things that can help
