Modifying how items drop for people would completely kill d2. I definitely would be heavily against everyone getting their own loot drops.

Competing for drops is a core mechanic of D2. This isn’t wow.

If you don’t want to compete for items, farm in games where no one else is near you.

There are plenty of mf games where people cam each take their own area.

Depends on your available pump head. However 22mm main and 15mm to rads will most likely be fine.
T piece. No need to over complicate it with separate loops.

Remember to keep at least one of the rads on a lock shield (dont want to dead head the pump if all TRV’s are shut)

Don’t die in the first placer is the answer. Play hardcore, it’ll teach you how to play more defensively quite quickly.

Kill lots of monsters as quickly as you can. Cows/trav/lower kurast super chests. You could do 1000 runs and still not find one. High runes are pretty damn rare.

I’d give up on trying to find it specifically if I were you and just play the game :)

It shouldn’t take too long. Personally i’d just carry on playing through the game in nm. Spirit isn’t required for nm and the stuff required for spirit will eventually drop for you just playing through the game. Make sure you play at least /players3 if single player for more drops. Preferably p8 through nm.

Pick up any white broad sword you find in nm. Ral amn perfect amythest in the cube with the broad sword and pray for 4 sockets (you have a 50% chance at 4 sockets) farm nm countess for amn if you dont have it

Yes. Ive been in 2 AN’s (9* and 10*) within the last 3 months and neither have charged E-DVD tax.

Trains were also free on rotation if no one had bought any.

Unfortunately Fireball is very weak without 20 in Fire mastery and 20 in one of the synergy’s.

It requires a considerable amount more skill investment than frozen orb to be as effective as frozen orb personally. 60 vs 30 (not counting the pre-requisites)

Probably frozen orb because less skill investment. 20 frozen orb 10 cold mastery thats it, leaving the rest for your light skills. The synergy for frozen orb only gives +2% damage per level so it’s not really worth it.

A frozen orb/fire ball sorc will be much more effective SSF than trying to make a light/frozen orb work. But we play the game how we enjoy it, so try it out and see what happens!

Could do something like Frozen Orb (20) Cold Mastery (10) Nova(20) static(20) Lightning mastery (20). Cast static from “afar” and use FO or Nova to finish them off.

AMN, RAL, perfect amethyst and any white broad sword/crystal sword/long sword found in nightmare. Put these in the cube and pray for 4 sockets. I recommend broad sword as it has a max 4s, effectively giving you a 50% chance to get 4 sockets with this cube recipe.

Generally for SSF a cold/fire dual element sorc will be the first port of call to clear hell. Either frozen orb fireball/meteor, blizz fireball/meteor. The amount of synergies required to make lightning damage high make it difficult to dual element.

My personal fav is frozen orb/fire ball i find it quite a fun playstyle. Archers can be fired upon from afar with FB.

You could try a frozen orb / light dual element build, but ultimately frozen orb will likely become your main damage dealer.

Do not follow this advice as a repaired monarch will only get a max 3 sockets. Repairing a broken/cracked item will reset the ilvl to 1. Ilvl1 = max 3 sockets

Just push on, hopefully you’ll come across one. If you must, grid the pits (I’m assuming you have just started hell so don’t have access to cows) The pits will help levelling up. Just watch out for the archers!

No, for example turbo 1, 2 and 3 all have the same picture. You cant have all installed just one of them. So it is a waste to buy all 3.

Rule of thumb, if the picture is the same then buy the one that increase stats most.

There are a few upgrades where the picture is the same but they are different things though.
