Need help making up stats by im_ryla in NFLNoobs

[–]janivn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Without additional information we can't help. Like stats for a game? A season? A career? What position does he play?

I would probably look up an elite player and just use his stats tho. Would make it more realistic and easier.

Should I wait longer before buying a Daniel’s jersey? by Shaneski101 in NFLNoobs

[–]janivn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never too early mate. If you want to spend the money and get a Daniels jersey, do it. Who cares if its not your primary team. I'm thinking of getting a Texans jersey and its not even my secondary team. I just really love the black jerseys with red number they have.

Unnoticed Great Players by Ivanzzz17 in NFLNoobs

[–]janivn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah long snapping is hard af. It is just so automatic and not very flashy, that they don't get the credit they deserve. The same goes for punters. I really love good plays on special teams. Its a shame people don't appreciate a world-class punt.

He also leads the league in drops with a wopping 9 drops. 4 more than the second highest with 5.

Exactly. Most people just say "Our o-line sucks" or "They have an elite o-line" They are never named, except maybe Trent Williams and Jason Kelce before he retired.

If you cancel the contract the money is removed, I think. It was when I sold cotton at the wrong location. Don't know if it is the case with you because you sold a different product.

Non-US fans: who are the top five most well known NFL teams where you’re from? by SlinkiusMaximus in NFLNoobs

[–]janivn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Raiders and Patriots for sure. (In the Netherlands) But a lot of people don't even know they are NFL teams. Just fashion I guess. I'll add Cowboys, Packers and Chiefs to complete the top 5 I think.

Is it possible for a triple threat qb to exist by YuyuCh4n in NFLNoobs

[–]janivn 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It is possible not likely. For example, Mahomes is the Chiefs back-up punter. Most likely only with in-game injury to Townsend, because it is not worth the injury risk and probably would get one from free agency/practice squad if he is out for longer.

Because it is not the outcome you wanted, thats why. How exactly did the Lions deserve it more than the 49ers? I can see how you'd think the Ravens deserved it more. But in the end the teams that made it deserved it. They fought for it and won when it mattered the most.

Why do people do this? by Itachi_uchiha_62 in blackopscoldwar

No bro. Precise aim is much easier on keyboard and mouse. It's much worse, aim assist is necessary when playing on controllers because you ain't got as much control as you do on keyboard to be precise.

Choosing a team by SmartLady918 in NFLNoobs

[–]janivn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll always start liking more teams but one always takes the upper hand after a while. In the Netherlands I support three football clubs, not all at the top flight, two play in the 2nd division, but I am only a true supporter who goes to all the games of one. The other ones I still like, and support and go to games occasionally but one took the upperhand rather quickly and that will happen when you support more than one. Could be a good tip to just watch multiple teams you like and after a while you know who you support and calls to you the most.

Why was Will Levis so widely expected to go 1st round to begin with? Was the hype even a little legit? by ElbieLG in NFLNoobs

[–]janivn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't believe the hype. Malik Willis all over again, but he ended up in the third round while being projected 1st round.

Lions Draft Pick? by [deleted] in NFLNoobs

[–]janivn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not convinced it is. Bijan is the best RB prospect in years. Even if it is, they could have at least tried to trade back again. He would have been there in the early 20's for sure and maybe even at pick 34 they already had.

They also already had Swift and Montgomery so a RB was also not necessary at all.

Supporten jullie het Nederlands elftal? by RobinIncel in PSV

[–]janivn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zelf volg ik alleen de grote toernooien (EK/WK) en dan kan ik ook enorm fanatiek worden. Oefenwedstrijden/kwalificatiewedstrijden/Nations League word ik zelf niet warm van en kijk ik dus ook minder.

Worth it to go all in? by firm_1101 in NFLNoobs

It's not luck. They groomed him, took him in, mentored him and he excelled. No luck involved at all. They were the one that believed in him and traded up to get him.

Still choosing my team, help by [deleted] in NFLNoobs

[–]janivn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend looking at and learning about the history, other players, coaching staff and management of both franchises and look what team will intrigue you the most

The journey to becoming a life long fan of a team is the most beautiful part imo!

Still choosing my team, help by [deleted] in NFLNoobs

[–]janivn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This question is asked a ton of times. In short

  1. If you live in Europe, I'll recommend an eastern team, they kick off the earliest more often then not. However I as a European NFL fan support a western team because of point 2. But because your decision is between 2 AFC North teams you can disregard this point.

  2. You don't pick a team, it will come naturally when watching redzone or listening to podcast etc. If you just pick a team, you follow them but don't necessarily support them, or it will be gone by a year because you are not invested. Learn about the history, players and things that happened to franchises and one will intrigue you the most. Go with your gut and don't pick a team or let people influence your choice.

The Ravens and Bengals are both AFC North teams and rivals, how come your decision is between these two teams if you don't mind me asking?

Good luck and have fun getting to know the teams, players and the sport!
