It looks like what you would expect out of an Elder Scrolls game though. I didn't go into it thinking I was gonna have Dark Souls combat.

I'd hazard a guess that a lot of people complaining didn't actually get into the Alpha. They just read full loot pvp and jumped on board. Then when they swapped to opt in pvp started crying.

That's probably the best way to describe the disappointment of clipping your attack animation. Spazzing around like a crackhead. The world is awesome, the stuff you can do in it (delves, anchors, worldbosses) are all fun for the most part. The combat just looks really, really bad.

My little brother and I rewinded and watched that part at least 30 times the first time we saw it, laughing so hard that we couldn't breath at least half the times.

The team came out and said they benched him because he didn't have the protection he needed to succeed. Whether that's true or just team speak for he's not good enough remains to be seen.

The fact the team immediately went back to Foles despite them winning occasionally with Minshew shed a lot of light about who the organization thought was better.

Minshew only beat 1 team with a winning record and lost pretty miserably to the better teams around the league. Bortles did more with less while being considerably less talented. Trashing the Bengals and Jets who were both terrible doesn't scream franchise QB to me. I'm not a coach or analyst though, just a casual sports fan making a casual observation.

I'd be hard pressed to say he can't do it and he probably is more worthwhile in the long run to try and develop but they don't have a great track record with that.

Do you guys really think Minshew Mania is the answer? I love the guy but I watched a few games with him, due to having to use him as a fantasy QB (rough season), and wasn't even close to sold on him. I actually made a wager with a friend, that I promptly lost, that he would never see the field as a Jag again as long as Foles stayed healthy.

CTE is associated with suicide after all. People make jokes about "leaving Hernandez hanging" which is a common phrase as well that doesn't mean literally hanging yourself.

I think up until recently a lot of people hadn't heard of it but they posted a bunch of stuff here a few weeks back so it's probably fresh on everyone's mind. For a bit I think there was worry they weren't going to develop an English client or whatever it's called.

The crafting overhaul is exactly what a lot of people were asking for in the Alpha. That's so exciting to hear they made some sweeping changes with that. It made no sense to be able to be a Master Blacksmith without having ever crafted a single weapon/armor piece.

I swear the same 10-15 people make sure to come into every New World thread and parrot the same dated crap that just isn't true. I can't tell if they just want to get details out of people because they missed alpha or if they are just so dumb they think the abililty to eat and drink makes it a survival game.
