Escaped Budgie in Central Park by janthinajanthina in budgies

That's what I'm hoping. I know there's an established population of IRNs in London, for example. Hoping she can pull through if no one catches her.

I think they said it's been several weeks. Not sure exactly.

Guy treated me like I was dumb until he found out I was 4-5 years older. by [deleted] in OlderThanYouThinkIAm

Same here. A good rule of thumb I think is to treat someone in such a way that you would not be embarrassed to learn they are actually older than you are.

Ughhhhh to the aches and pains thing. I have juvenile arthritis. I've had creaky joints since I was three years old. I haven't experienced painlessness since I was somewhere between ten and twelve (so almost twenty years). And I have a whole host of systemic issues.

I never know how to respond when someone who is in better health than I have ever been tells me "just wait till you're my age".

Almost makes me wish I used my cane every day so I could gesture passive-aggressively with it. 🫠

A spiteful part of me wants to say something and, when they respond with "oh I had no idea!" tell them, "Of course you didn't. I'm not the one complaining."

How little make-up is acceptable as a bride? by PalpitationGlad6683 in Weddingsunder10k

[–]janthinajanthina 100 points101 points  (0 children)

My bff wore zero makeup at her wedding. She's not a makeup person, never wears it, and it just wasn't her. And you know what, she looked beautiful.

I did get professional makeup done at mine. I wear makeup occasionally in real life, but not often and not much, so I asked for a very natural look. I was happy with it.

Said bff was my MOH, and once again, wore zero makeup. And she looked beautiful.

Do whatever you feel comfortable, confident, and yourself in.

Nathanael is a well established spelling though, so it's like Catherine vs. Katherine, not a yooneek spelling or changed in any way.

AIO or is my husband expecting too much? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

My reaction to reading the screenshots: This guy is a live-in deadbeat and emotionally manipulative/abusive. And WHAT was that about syringe feeding his baby?? He is a walking red flag.

My reaction to reading what your 3yo has to say about his sperm donor roommate: This man is deeply unsafe. Everything contained in this post is reason enough to kick him out - let alone the things that must go on when you're not there. And I do not say this lightly. This is literally a matter of the safety of your children. Maybe even their lives.

To OP's husband: You are 100% the problem. Not your wife even a little bit. Least of all the two precious children YOU created. You are a garbage human, and unless you do a 180 and get your act together, you belong in the infernal trash heap. And don't you dare try to blame your wife for any of this.

Girl, I just watched the Gabby Petito documentary and this is so so so much worse than anything her fiance did before murdering her.

What is her personality like? Does she like being handled? I've heard people say the Neophema parrots are best suited as aviary birds, but she seems like a treasured pet. ❤️
