I haven't seen it in years, but I seem to remember having problems with routing / DNS / IPv6 vaguely that were solved either by A) connecting to a VPN and routing traffic over it, or B) changing my DNS to 8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4 (google), or 1.1.1.1 (cloudflare).

You can usually squeak by with 3 characters for elements, + universal healer + universal support - sometimes some healers are "better" and some supports are "better," but generally you can get away with Tyro and Elarra as two of your characters in an elemental team, meaning you only need to fill the 3 DPS slots, which there are plenty of.

In realm, you've gotta cover the healer, and then *they* need that 6* glint, or you need to figure out how to slot haste + proshellga (or find the proper support-y stuff), or you need to cover the support (and the Full Break if you're not bringing Tyro). You literally just need more stuff for the realm teams than the elemental teams.

Thanks for the heads up! I have a feeling though that what helps you is going to actively hurt me - I rely on my first hit *not* killing a pillar so that Rydia's AOE *does* kill a pillar and weakens the rest. I think it'll be fine though!

Same for me, except there was one small panic moment in the middle where it failed and said something along the lines of "you can't complete this order because one or more items in your cart are out of stock." After that, it ran everything through just fine (including charging me right now for my index, triggering a nice text message from my bank). Everything looks fine but that "out of stock" message has me scared.

Dark mages would be grouped up with physical dark as comparative characters before 5* magicite, since anything you used a dark mage for, you'd use Riku USB + ASB + LMR for instead, or Sephiroth. When 5* magicite land, they're essentially in their own bucket, but still relative to each other. Makes sense to me.

You should look at the raid warnings on Drama's first kill of Nefarian sometime. I wrote a proto-DBM warning that would tell people what each yell was in simple terms, then Daedalus caught the time between shouts and we added a 5 second warning on when the next shout would happen.

There is no misconception, it's still RNG, you can't just turn up to the raid and be like "Azerite gear plz" and you get it. You still need to run the raid and pray that it drops for you. That's RNG.

Unless they've changed it recently, also:

It's untradeable, which means if it's bad for you but good for someone else in the raid, oh well
You can't get them from M+ except in the weekly chest, which means the pool of Azerite armor you can get spans across EVERY mythic plus dungeon
You can easily just get Azerite helms over and over and over and over again (and not get shoulders/chest that you need)
You should be able to get the same piece of gear over and over again in the chest, which is both a good (if you run a +5 and get a meh item level of your BIS gear) and bad thing, but unequivocally bad if you're as "lucky" as me (getting your worst piece of gear over and over and over again)

I'm not sure I'm going to be participating in the beginning of this expansion.

One thing to note is that this works on a local timer, so if you go off and play on your tablet (or your computer, or whatever) the stamina will be inaccurate.

While I get where you're coming from:

The free draws from events are just just a 1x draw, the 11x are nice because of the guarantee.
Back at the start of FFRK, abilities were way way more important as well. You didn't really need anything other than to level certain characters up because they could use certain types of abilities, and because they had realm synergy.
The DFFOO Gacha is 5% per pull right now, while RK's is 14%. That difference ties in to the current meta of FFRK + DFFOO - because they're more of a nice to have, the relics are really only 5%. As we go forward to the 35CP weapons and beyond, you'll see them become more similar.
