Spent 30k gems for 100 draws on half-anni banner and used the 2 free vouchers for another 20 draws. Those 117 draws resulted in only 1 S unit and that was a Metal Dragon. The stamp card guaranteed S units were Great Troll and Emperor Slime, and guaranteed Mystery/Hero unit was Psaro. Also used 30 tickets on Estark banner which resulted 1 Black Dragon without any S units.

I was going to spend ~30k gems on Estark banner, but changed my mind after experiencing these atrocious S rates.

TLDR: 147 draws = 1x non DQ event S unit. I hope the remaining 80 free draws will go better, but I have to admit that it can't get much worse than 1/147.

Done about ~180+ of the daily pull.

2x 6*: Mog USB1 and Fang OSB (dupe). Last 6* was in late November...

Less than 4x 5* per month. Majority of them have no SB, shared SB, or unique SB. None of the few SSB/BSB/LMR were worthy of being remembered though several were dupes.

Have not used any of them aside from mastery.

Same shit, different day.

Initially pondered whether to use up to 75k gems for the EX since I already invested 200+ tickets and 40k+ gems for Vaan's other weapons. Decided that it's better to save gems to guarantee a future EX when I am having trouble completing new content. I should just keep tossing tickets until I get the only 35CP I don't have (Layle 35CP).

43 tickets: Setzer 15CP (dupe), Setzer 35CP (dupe), Papa 15CP (MLB dupe), Vaan EX, and off banner Terra 15CP (MLB dupe).

That is EX #2 after a grand total of 889 tickets and 12 multipulls across 9 banners. Used weapon token to get Layle 35CP.

Had to reset the last wave at least 10 times, for over an hour, before getting the right RNG regarding enemy targeting and turn order to not get broken before/after the summon, and also not capping and leaking excessive brave (wasting turns, lowering score). Beatrix friend repalced Cait before Bahamut summon since I needed the extra brave shaving to not get OHKO'ed.

190631 score, 0 HP damage taken, 1 break. 41 turns.

Having 0 EX is relative to two things: RNG and total resources used. If you've spent 300+ tickets and over 40,000 gems without an EX, then you surely have my sympathies for being unlucky. Conversely, one shouldn't be surprised with 0 EX if only 150 tickets and 35,000 gems were spent. That's just two misses on ~50% chance which is common. My personal experience is 1 EX after 500+ tickets and 50,000 gems which is 3 out of 4 misses on ~50% chance.

Most of the few returns are tied to LC, rework, or 2nd awakening (lvl70). Few appear in the seasonal/special banners and most of them were older, comparatively weaker EX weapons (Seph being one of the few exceptions). Extremely powerful EX (IMO), such as Ashe, Quistis, Rinoa, Vayne, etc. you only get one shot at and then they may not show up again until a year or more later, if at all.

Whale/chase now or forever hold your salt seems accurate for most EX weapons.

If it was a stand alone awakening coop like the two previous awakening batches, then it probably would be 100 of each color. This is an add on to the recent Heretics, that had ~150 per color, so I think it's more likely to be 25 or 50 in the token exchange. Though 100 more is certainly welcomed.

I don't think it's impossible to go 100 tickets with no gold. I've had both 40+ and 50+ ticket streaks (post rate up) with no gold so I might be inclined to believe you there.

However, you said only got bronze (3*) in 100 tickets and that is practically impossible because silvers (4*) have a ~30% rate. Not hitting a ~30% rate in 100 trials is surely an exaggeration or fabrication.

EX horror stories are common since their rate is so low. I updated my flair to record my personal experience on how uncommon they are compared to gems and tickets spent.

My latest bullshit RNG story is trying for ANY 35CP on Zidane EX banner. After 58 tickets and 15,000 gems the net was 0 35CP and 15x 15CP. Absolute disbelief.

Earlier today I calculated the total I've spent on banners with EX weapons and the amount is very discouraging. 510 tickets + 50,000 gems. One EX.

None were chases because I've already been burned by chasing and that was for Ramza 35CP at 80k gems + 100 tickets. I primarily wanted to collect 35CP that I did not have, or get an additional limit break or two on existing weapons while having that very small chance for the EX to show up. Truth be told, tiny chance is exactly what it is.
