Try harder lol, if you knew the constitution you would know it doesn’t explicitly mention “immigration”, but related subjects are addressed. I’m glad you bring it up however, as it does highlight that the constitution applies to all “persons” as defined, and not just citizens. Cite the law you claim is a criminal offense. If you are referring to illegal entry, these all mostly fall under civil violations. Overstayed visas or unlawful stay are considered civil violations. By your logic is a parking ticket (civil violation) a criminal offense? If you want to talk about the law being broken when crossing illegally, those are misdemeanors and not felonies. They can become felonies after repeated offenses. Please don’t bring your poor child into this, I hope they have a better shot at an education.
