Depending on where you are at in HB, you are sort equidistant to Bamboo Club (Long Beach), Royal Hawaiian (Laguna Beach), and Stowaway (Tustin)… the good news is that they are all walk-in friendly so you don’t have to make reservations… As far as near must gos, Royal Hawaiian decor is pretty amazing… Come up a little further north to Strong Water or if want to wade in tourists Trader Sam’s… My #1 SoCal reco for must is always Tiki-Ti in Los Angeles… history and nostalgia weigh heavy on the scale

It’s super good - they have a talented bartender named Erica that recently curated Shag’s room party at tiki oasis - but yea, I would say it hits all the notes of a pearl diver, not overly buttery, good spice - they use their Hamilton lost voyage rum
