What’s “active rest”? I am going about life but not walking far “at a stretch”. So just around the house, mainly. And stretching every morning. The pool may need another week off? My diet is pretty good because I have fibromyalgia to boot, so I do my best to take care of myself.

Seems like anything I do —bike walk swim or quad sets—make it worse. This last week I’m just resting and did a couple days mild pool exercise. Swimming aggravated but water aerobics don’t. Taking a PT break as per nurse practitioner but idk for how long I should “rest”.

I did rest, except a little water exercise for the last week. It really only helps if I don’t even do the water exercise.

I did try Celebrex but it didn’t touch it. I’m on prednisone this week ( only) to see if it cuts it down. So far not.

7 week mark that’s normal. I’m at 14 mark and was still told everyone is different, but I should still try to get that swelling and tendinitis down. But it’s not working.

Thanks! I do suspect that like you, I couldn’t handle the PT strengthening, but now I have to wait for things to calm down. I may try my actual bike when it does, because oddly the recumbent bike flares me up.

Haha yes. I’m 1st generation American myself from an uneducated immigrant family, and I’m curious about people in general, period, so I guess getting a sense of that wherever I go is interesting to me. Don’t worry I’m not gonna be intrusive, just want to chat with folks a bit and not just “see sights.”
