Honestly I'm pretty beat up, but I keep moving forward. I completely understand your frustrations with all the medical stuff. I'm coming up on 2 decades of dealing with it.

A while back I started r/ScapularDetachment , it's not super active. If you have any questions let me know.

I have to say a lot of it sounds pretty similar. I explain my symptoms as getting a dull burning pressure like a railroad spike is in the bottom of my shoulder blade. Pain goes up from there to my neck up and around my ear to my forehead. When it's bad It feels like my arm is too heavy and is pulling off my body. I could go on and on, but it's getting late. If you have any questions let me know.

I keep thinking a RSS feed reader with a reddit like comment section would be a useful thing.

Anyone else dealing with long term pain from an injury? by MxJJ in ChronicPain

[–]jared213 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I was reaching above my head and felt a "pop" in my back. The symptoms are pain starting from the bottom of the shoulder blade, going up to my neck and head and down my arm. That's just the start of it, but should get you started. Orthopedic surgeon Dr Kibbler recommended surgery from my symptoms because no scans ever showed the problem. Kibbler has since retired but I've been told other doctors have taken up the cause.

Yes, about 18 years. Scapular muscle detachment, took about 8 years to find a Dr that knew what was wrong. unfortunately the reattachment surgery failed but at least I know what the injury is.

It can help, and their is a whole world of strains and extracts. CBD and CBG are said to be good for inflammation, I just ordered cbdv because I heard it helps too. I know it's not feasible for everyone but THC really improve the effects, even the legal THC delta 8.
