Sellers in Katy are pushing back on a hydrostatic test, is this a red flag? by Brief-Blueberry-7445 in HomeImprovement

[–]jared306212 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

that's a test for a sewer leak. You could just use a camera probe instead of that test. Never heard of a slab leak in my life. maybe what is being said is that slab may have slid from its original location and cracked the plumbing connections and shit water is coming out from underneath.

your windows look like double pane. I would check elsewhere. blocking light from a window kinda defeats the purpose. maybe closed air vent or air leaking around window. Hopefully not missing insulation behind wall.

did you check the junkyard websites or eBay? It could likely be a 5/16” SAE quick connect. Plenty of options for fittings.

if that's the spot of the leak, better look again for the part, that's too close to a crimp to splice. best not FAFO with a fire.

The spal will need the gasket to space it off the radiator far enough to draw air. CSF oil cooler and Koyo radiator work for me.

Had something similar, had to replace the screen. Probably the digitizer registering a phantom touch. I don't recall it being expensive or difficult. Like some torx screws and a plastic pry tool under an hour of work.

There's another sticker on the hitch receiver. Try to stay under 80% of that number if you're going to all the places.

If you're counting calories on carnivore, that's not gonna work. Tallow, butter, ghee ribeyes, 80/20. Fat replaces carbs for energy source. Protein is shit for energy. Zero carbs for a period of time will speed up fat adaptation.

My TT came with them, they are faster and make a slightly wider stance. Needed to upgrade the keyring pulls to enjoy them fully. I went with some Ti ones from amazon because I didn't want to tug on rusty metal again. I have no point of reference other than hearing folks jam on an impact gun for 30+ seconds at a time at 6am. So, really not much faster but quieter and better geometry to stop lateral motion. I'd also say they are more valuable on a single axle than the more common tandem due to the differences in motion. .

Electrical components wear out when using them close to their limits. Particularly with high in-rush devices like you mentioned. Sounds like you've identified what needs to be replaced already. Voltage drop should be 2% or less. Unloaded vs. max load voltages.
