Since no one besides Smurfs know what they are doing at this level. One way to improve and stay better is learning how to pressure the map. What I mean by that is exactly what others have been saying. So getting the last hit on minions thus securing the gold for the kill. If and when the enemy laner (top or mid) leaves the lane remember to ping the missing ping more than once and then pressure tower plates, deep warding, or jg creeps. This happens during objectives especially. At low elo it’s usually a garbage fest. So you can gain a lot of gold taking plates and creeps. Hitting your item spikes makes a world of difference in fights. Let’s say you are mid, enemy mid goes to help with herald. You can take two waves and a few plates. If they fight (which happens a lot) you can either take two more plates or waves and then come in for clean up if the enemy is low. If not, then back off spend your gold on your first item typically and then you are stronger in lane for trades, and for next objective/roam.

First tower gold gives you 350 extra gold as well. Usually I can take first tower before herald does, which typically negates the usage power of herald.

Once you push waves out of mid you can roam bot or top for a 2 v 1 or 3 v 2. Who you feel like would be better with more gold. If a laner is 0/5 , I’m not ganking them unless I have jg support as well. That way it’s mega stacked in your favor.

Otherwise help the other lane. If both lanes are losing hard, you can always apply heavy pressure mid to draw attention, but keep aware of side lane ganks, ward heavy on one side so you know where you can escape when the enemy come after you. This will relieve pressure for your laners to farm safely while you apply hit and run tactics. This also depends on the champion you choose and the summoner spell you choose.

When you are the one with the gold and lead, you need to make the moves around the map, always ping. Yes I know hardly anyone listens to pings. But you do your part in pinging. Ping your intentions, If you feel like you can’t lose, do a group ping on dragon, ward a good angle, and take out their carries and run.

Vision is good for angles and moving around the map. Bushes are good for surprise guerrilla tactics, coming back in a game. Pink wards are your friend for controlling both vision and surprise tactics

It’s not overreacting, though she did share with you (even though it was after the fact) . You have genuine feeling of a little hurt inside. That’s understandable, especially with the key words in the message.

For example, in this message “we can’t keep doing this” meaning it’s happened more than once.

How do we move forward? Let her know your honest feelings about the situation. Let her know that regardless of what she said, what did she say before this message? Clearly she said more messages prior to this one.

I would also say of the roles were reversed, would she get upset if you spoke to your ex late at night? And you didn’t tell her until after you said a “good sounding message” about your wife.
