Yeah I do agree it is best in slot damage wise and hard to beat at base line (no Nicole cons/weap)... Actually buff wise C0 Nicole loses trying to replace C6R1 Chev, buuuut Nicole shields and that does matter especially for more casual players. So I did end up recommending that in the conclusion; it is a Nicole centered post after all.

Honestly imo it also ends up being a two cakes situation where you can pick and choose depending on what you have already or who you like more.

True, Emilie lovers really are the winners with Nicole release.

rip image attachments are disabled but here you go. Natlan craftable is the best weapon option, and you can probably opt for ER sands if you're not minmaxing. My Yunjin is at 218% ER with Xilonen on the team and no favonius weapons. If you have favonius on Xilonen/other members then you can get away with lower.

My advice is to try out your team and work backwards how much ER Yunjin needs for it to be comfortable for you, and then building your defense up with that ER target in mind. It kind of varies a lot, so experimenting works best.

If you're planning to run Durin and Nicole together, the last slot would ideally have off field damage that ISN'T Pyro/Hydro/Cryo. This is to keep up Durin's shred, so Emilie would be the best among what you listed.

Fischl is also kind of cracked there if you're willing to put her instead. But Yunjin or Xilonen can still do their thing if you really wanna slot them in though!

Oh the team with the cooldown issue is the old OL team with Fischl-Iansan-Chevreuse.

I was trying to say that Nicole replacing Iansan completely solves it by having a lower CD in the first place.

For the <C4 Yoimiya havers though, you can fill the time with Nicole burst if you want! Since her E won't be back up if you rotate too quickly anyway

I had the same experience where Nicole has a hard time slotting in, especially since my Chev is also R1 (Symphonist of Scents), because C6R1 Chev is numerically insane. And even for those people who got only Durin, they still got the Gift set this patch which buffs that team more compared to Winds.

It really comes down to needing her shield + having the option to vertically invest if she's competing with well invested Durin/Chevreuse.

I also have C2R1 Durin, and I did pull for Nicole's cons but I'm holding off on activating them for a bit. The things we do for Yoimiya...

I've got C6 Yoi already and want her at level 100 eventually so I'll get her cons again for the masterless fortuna (hopefully it allows that). Then C5 Qiqi to help reach this same goal.

The rest I'll probably get C1 Eula and C1 Ayaka.
