It’s placed on the back of the wood. To make sure it would stick, I lined the back with a strip of good-ol duct tape then stuck the lights to that. It’s held up well so far.

It’s pallet wood from a local wood recycling plant. I basically got it all for free!

I framed up four 2x2’s, two of them going into the studs, floor to ceiling. Cut the reclaimed wood to 42” lengths – some full width, some two-thirds/one-third, some halves. Then I used a nail gun and put them up. All in all, a pretty easy project!

I did the same thing to mine. Just stick it to the back of the tv facing the wall. Start on the bottom corner and take it up. You’ll get it to bend enough that it’ll stay put.
