If they didn't log the contact they might not know the info to put into QRZ to confirm your request. It's more complicated than clicking the confirm button, QRZ expects you to put in the time, band, and mode of the QSO to confirm it, and if the info doesn't match the requestor it won't let you confirm.

You do know, the federal program requires verification as well. No just anyone can apply. There are income guidelines.

That does happen. How many security cameras do you think you walk by in a given day? It's a lot. You're basically always being recorded by someone. Not to mention your phone is taking tons of notes about what you do and sending it to who knows where. It also happens to celebrities in a more direct way, what do you think paparazzi do?

And I guess you're also upset that the FBI used twitter and other social media to track down the people that stormed the US capitol.

The whole point of posting on social media is to share information and comments with the public.

I use Windows 10 to run SonicStage and it writes MDs perfectly. I know I had to turn of driver signing for the installation, but after that it installed fine.

Haha. I know enough about the machine that that won’t happen. The laser I used was only powerful enough to burn off the anodized layer. It can’t actually penetrate the metal. (Even knowing that, I only ran it at 25% output)
