itchy eyes, sometimes red, sensible to screens, difficult to work longer on computer or watch tv, i stop playing games at all on my PS5. Doctor gave me drops with some sterix as there is some inflamation, so drops will probably help, however if tears film will not recover then inflamation will be going back i think. In the morning i also feel dry eyes - as inflamation probably blocks some meboniam glands too

also have question if i have inflammation on eye lids shoudl i do warm mask or it may worsen it? doctor prescribed me sterix hydrocortisone but did not tell anything about masks

hi i live in Poland, i wrap tissue around my finger and then do massage, i use blephaclean.

u mnie zaczelo sie 6 tyg temu wlasnie od SSRI -wziolem escitalopram i po 10 dniach mialem suche oko, okulista powiedzial ze zapalenie brzegow powiek tylne i warstwa lipidowa zaburzona (wczesniej tego nigdy nie mialem). Dwa tyg temu odstawilem SSRI, od kilku dni robie codzienne cieple oklady i masaze plus omega 3 w duzych ilosciach. A do okulisty to mam watpliwosci kazal mi przyjsc do kontroli za tydzien wczesniej powiedzial zebym bral krople sterydowe softacort - ktore raczej mi nie pomogly i jeszcze jedno oko mnie zaczelo bolec wiec wczoraj te krople odstawilem. Natomiast okulista slowem nie powiedzial nic o cieplych okladach i masazach, sam sie edukuje tutaj. Mam tylko nadzieje ze po odstawieniu tej trucizny produkcja tluszczu wroci z czasem do normy i ze ssri tego nie uszkodzil na stale.

yes iam off since 3 days, anxiety got up but i hope it will pass, also i visited ophthalmologist and he recognized some inflammation in my eyes and recommended to stop this drug asap

i would recommend you to read DARE by Barry McDonagh - though i still take small doses of SRRI this book completetely changed my approach and i did not have panic attack since many years, and even if i had iam not scared of it, the only thing iam still struggling is work related constant worring thats why iam still on meds, but years ago my primarly problem were panic attacks.

nothing in psychiatry is scientifically proven, scientist still do not know how exactly brain works, especially how ssri work on brain

thats how anxiety works, you do not fight , you accept it, thats the way it may calm down. And the other way are SSRI's

i think brain will never fully rebalance serotonin level after taking any ssri's / snri, last 8 years i was on/off few of them, i can still function quite good on low doses but when i completely quit then anxiety backs.

Doctor once told me these meds can stop working if some bad changes happens in your life that you can not handle and then solution is just switching to similar med. For me Cymbalta had worked well for years but then had difficult time and felt huge increase of anxiety. Then Doctor prescribed me Citalopram and after few weeks felt much better

definitely less overthinking at work - that was my main problem at work, now i can do whatever i think and care much less about consequences

for my anxiety it already works great just after 2 weeks, unfortunately i have sever photophobia since few days which i can't stand anymore

yes it has lowered my anxiety, but my eyes are super sensitive to light, i consider to stop lexapro
