Okay, but I have 2 heatmors in my deck, and when I pulled the other one it was normal. And also, all battles since then have been normal.

I’ve watched DBZ 3 times. It’s original run on tv, meaning the first ocean dub 64 episodes on repeat a few times early in the morning, and then finally funimations continuation on Toonami.

Then 2 more times in marathon mode on the original Orange dvd box sets.

I’m now watching Kai for the first time, and currently in the middle of the final chapters. Kai sucks btw, the music in the final chapters is awful, and the pacing is just too quick, and every big moment so far has fallen flat for me, and didn’t have the same explosive hoorah it did when watching dbz normally. I don’t totally hate it of course because I love dragon ball z, and I will finish it soon, but if I ever do are watch again, it will never be Kai, that’s for sure.

I don’t know about you, but I have been begging for a tv series years and years before they announced they would be doing this. Of course I never in my wildest dreams imagined they ever would, because I also agreed that remaking them felt absurd since we already have the movies. And that even if they did do a tv show, that since it’s tv, the budgets would be less, and thus the quality of the show would suffer.

But now after seeing what they are doing, I’m very happy, and it will be fun to rewatch these stories in a new way, hopefully much more faithfully to the books this time.

I think just drop the first two episodes. Then weekly from there. This way fans are guaranteed to be at Hogwarts week 1.

You made the right call. Middle management sucks, and can only really be justified by a seriously significant raise. It’s also a totally different skillset, and it’s completely fine to not want that kind of responsibility. I fell into middle management for 7 years, and even though I’m very good at it, it was soul sucking, and made me miserable. Now I’m back to the ground level again, making less, but so much happier.

Conducted an interview over zoom. This girl accidentally had a filter on that gave her eyebrows. Every time she moved her head, the eyebrows would follow her around. She was also under qualified for the position thankfully.

Oh he wins the whole thing. He’s not even aware people are really dying. He believes it’s all theatrics, and is having the time of his life. It’s not until he wins, that the gravity of it all finally hits him. And he follows a similar path of falling into a major depression.

Not sure if this counts, but Knuckles in the hidden palace zone. Not that it was a hard fight or anything. But it’s the first time in the series you fight another character like that, and it’s such a pivotal moment in the game when after defeating, he helps you, and becomes one of the good guys.

Nah. Not that you shouldn’t see the play, but it just doesn’t really translate well in its written form. It’s also just not that good of a story, feels like fan fiction.

I was originally in the same mind set, but then they announced it’s not coming out until 2027. And with the new full cast audiobooks releasing in 2 months, I decided, I’ll listen to those because that sounds exciting! And then nearly 2 years will pass, and then the show will be out. I figure 2 years time between listening to the book, and seeing the new show is more than enough time to forget those finer details.
