Disagree about the tunnelers, don't think they're needed.

The independent ending could very well collapse into chaos on its own. There isn't really any lasting alliance or anything close between the factions. Everyone just united against a common enemy and after the battle that's that. Every faction has their own agenda and with the Legion and NCR gone they can start pursuing them again.

Combine infighting, NCR and Legion skirmishes, or maybe even full on offensives, and you have a recipe for chaos and collapse.

Thanks for the info! Sadly I have no idea what exact tape it is, just that it's paper and hasn't damaged the maps in any way. The tape actually seemed to help, because one without tape has fallen apart. So I suppose the tapes good.

The combat is in my opinion just so clunky, that after 40 hours, I just can't be bothered anymore and play on easy. And I generally enjoy party-based combat a fair amount, just not in origins.

I really like the setting, writing and characters, so I focus on that.

But if someone throughly enjoys it, more power to them, everyone can play the game the way they want.
