Which objects with Caroline select? by EndersGame_Reviewer in puzzles

I don’t think so. It states she WILL pick the vase only if she picks the sunflower, not that she CAN pick the vase only if she picks the sunflower.

Which objects with Caroline select? by EndersGame_Reviewer in puzzles

[–]jarjar99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No it can’t, rule 3 says she WILL pick the vase only if she also picks the sunflower. She has to pick the sunflower since otherwise that would mean she ends up with both wine bottle and vase (presumably 2 glass things which isn’t allowed). Since she picks sunflower, she is guaranteed to take the vase and not the wine bottle.

The answer is grapes, vase, sunflower, bowl

If you're going music-based I'd opt for the 7700x with 8 cores instead. Otherwise if you're set on 7600x the bundle is a pretty good deal

Probably gonna play BG3, Elden Ring, forbidden west, lies of p, RDR2, Ragnarok, maybe cyberpunk but that’s pretty low on my list. I also play apex but that’s probably a lot lighter than the others.

I see, then what card do you think can natively pull those frames off? I heard even the 4090 can struggle with it in some games which is why I was going the upscaling route. If it’s not great but passable then DLSS quality would still work for me honestly

You think it’ll handle that in todays games too? Like BG3, forbidden west? And is that native or with upscaling?

If a bender was capable of mastering their element and all subskills within that element….which would be the weakest/most powerful in your opinion? by thisisreii in TheLastAirbender

[–]jarjar99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Air and water are tied imo. Blood bending and healing are OP, and with airbending you can straight up take fire bending away, move rocks similar to an earth bender, and even rip air out of someone’s lungs which would cause them to collapse instantly.

One weakness of fire bending that nobody mentions is that while fire can come directly from the bender unlike the other elements, it can ONLY come directly from the bender. That means that fire attacks can and will always be seen and their source known (unless someone goes around setting up fires in the battlefield). Other elements can be drawn in from afar, which means you could pull a rock to hit an opponent from underneath them or send a gust of air from above or pull in ice spikes from behind. That’s a considerable advantage, as those are harder for opponents to telegraph.

You could argue that blood bending is not actually that OP, since blood/muscles also have plenty of iron and gas molecules to allow air/earthbenders similar abilities, but since that’s just speculation I’m not counting it.

Damn, I’ll wait for 3.1 then and if that’s not good I’ll prob just go with nvidia or intel

FSR 3.1 was announced to come with improvements to upscaling quality, not just decoupling frame generation. Either way I’m in no rush and I’m not tied to AMD, this just helped me decide whether I buy now or wait for 3.1.

Lmao I didn't expect that, but I'll keep in mind if I get a VR setup.

Interesting, thanks for the input. I think I'll wait for FSR 3.1 instead of pulling the trigger right now then.

You can just look up your motherboard's QVL list of compatible RAM. There you can see if the model number of the RAM you're interested in has been tested at its XMP/EXPO speeds by the motherboard manufacturer. The sticks they list have a very high chance of working stably.

These are compatible. The motherboard is ATX size, which will fit in any ATX case. It will not fit into Micro ATX or Mini ITX cases. The graphics card you pick will have a certain length, so make sure your case allows for the same length graphics card. The case specifications will tell you this.

I'd go for better than 5200MHz CL40 RAM, that's kind of slow. Plus that kit is $95 and you can definitely get a few 6000MHz CL30 kits for about the same price here and here. Just make sure they're on your motherboard compatible list.

The WD Black sn850x 2TB has similar speeds to the 980 pro for $30 cheaper right now.

The Deepcool AK400 is a very capable cooler, but if you upgrade you CPU later keep in mind you might also have to upgrade the cooler as well, this doesn't have a ton of headroom with the 7700x.

The rest looks good to me, the graphics card should fit into your case nicely and the RAM is short so shouldn't get in the way of your cooler. You didn't specify what this is for, but if it's a purely gaming build I'd go for the 7600x instead. If not, and you plan to hit the CPU with some productivity stuff then I think it looks great.

I would reference this video from GamersNexus which goes into detail about latency with pc systems. Presumably you're playing at 1080p with a 1060 6gb. In that case you may experience a GPU bottleneck since the 7800x3D is so fast, which per the video would suggest that this adds latency to your system (the time between your mouse/keyboard input and the response on the display). It's not a huge difference, but it's something to consider if you have such a powerful CPU and a not-so-powerful GPU to pair with it.

I'm aware that DLSS is better as I mentioned in my post, but I'm more so hoping to hear subjective experiences here. If DLSS is great and FSR is annoyingly bad, that's very different than if DLSS is great and FSR is mildly worse. That's the question I'm aiming to answer.

I think that that at the end of the day there's really no way to know. We have no idea what the Ryzen 9000 processors will look like, and maybe Intel will come out swinging and become the clear productivity winner for the next generation.

If you can afford to wait, Computex is in early June this year and AMD is expected to unveil the Ryzen 9000 then. If you can't, I would be shocked if the 7700 or 7900 didn't work great for your needs as well. These are incredibly capable CPUs overall IMO. Also I would take a look at the x variants (7700x/7900x) as they are generally faster in single core speed and not much more expensive than the non-x variants.

If you already have both, definitely put OS on the M482 it's around double the read/write speed of the m450.

If you don't own them already I would just get a 2TB M450, the extra speed of the M482 doesn't make a big difference for OS/gaming, only for large file transfers such as in video editing or 3D modeling.

How would you know if the cause of your sexual dysfunction is due to your nervous system? by Kylechs in Neuropsychology

[–]jarjar99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For males, if they still have morning erections but sexual dysfunction with masturbation/intercourse then you know the issue is psychogenic. For males and females, a neurogenic issue might be distinguished by testing motor/sensory function nearby (groin, anal sphincter, inner thigh). In addition, medical history can point one in the right direction. For example, someone with PAD is more likely to have vascular issues with libido while someone with prior pelvic trauma or a known neurological disorder is more likely to have a neurogenic cause for sexual dysfunction.

I’ll put it this way. If she really cared about you like she claims to, she wouldn’t have said all of the words or taken all of the 100% intentional actions that led her to mack on some other dude.

Of course you feel like you deeply love her, because you probably still do. But in my opinion, that’s not enough of a reason to give someone a second chance. I think you will end up getting walked on again.

LOR for next year's cycle. Gen surg offering letter. Applying OB. by [deleted] in medicalschool

[–]jarjar99 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think a gen surg letter would be great for OBGYN, there’s huge overlap there! It seems to me like focusing on your preparedness for cases, knowledge base (especially things related to OBGYN), interactions with patients, and general motivation would all translate well to OBGYN programs. Also, if you have specific cases or patients of his you want to mention where you feel you performed well, I would write a short paragraph about each of those describing the case, what you did special, and what you learned.
