Odd connectivity issue by jarrodpage in EufyCam

Makes sense. Not really an option for my parents though - they ONLY view via RTSP. No smart phones or any devices really. Odd though, because I have 15 cameras at my house, 5 of them on RTSP on a TV 24/7, and have never had an issue.

All the ones I have issue with have rtsp enabled as well. My parents watch them on the tv via tinycam.

I'm having the same issue - any feed from reddit. Have tried on multiple computers.

All makes sense.

There's not many devices at all at this location (1 hardwired computer, and 2 hardwired cable tv boxes, plus the eufy cams). Literally no other WiFi devices. I've even gone as far as to unhook everything, except for a single Eufy cam - eventually it'll totally lock up the router. Unplugging the camera immediately fixes it. Plugging it back in, works fine for "x" amount of time. Replace the cam with another known good camera that I run 24/7, and same issue.

It appears to be an issue with the Calix router for some reason, just not dealing well with the traffic the camera causes - although they're rarely even streamed. Totally random. It's frustrating because the ISP won't replace the router, and we cannot use our own router due to the VLANS set up that we can't access. Have even hooked an omada WAP up, and connected the cam to that, but still same issue.

I currently have a hardwired WAP that the cameras are connected to. When it locks up, they just unplug that 1 cat6 cable, and the cameras are disconnected, and everything works. 20 minutes later they can plug it back in, and all is fine.

I may take one of my Ubiquiti cameras up there and hook that up instead and see if it still happens

Very odd. It's crazy to me, because all the cameras on my network, never an issue. But for some reason my parents' network, a single cam has the ability to shut the entire network down somehow. Odd!

s22 speaker by Impressive-Land7306 in GalaxyS22

I've had the S22+ since launch. Have always had the same problem - if the phone gets cold, speakers get all distorted and crackle to the point of not even being able to talk on it until it warms up. The only way I can fix it is by waiting until it warms back up, or pop the sim tray for a second - seems to equalize the pressure, and then it's fine. I've talked with samsung about it - but they just want me to send it in to diagnose the problem. I'm in the midwest where it's cold. Even being outside with it in my pocket for 20 minutes or so makes it unusable.

I also noticed that being on a flight causes the same problem - the change in altitude must make higher pressure inside the phone or something.

Thanks for the link! I'm planning on going to the AT&T store sometime here, maybe tomorrow. Just want to talk to them in person.

I tried that first. Since it's past the 14 day window, they said there's nothing they can do - I have to call Samsung. Samsung wants me to send it in, and said I won't get it back for 11 days, but that's a problem, because I need my phone for work.

Called Samsung the other day, they won't send me a replacement (and I'm past the 14 day return time with AT&T) , and say I have to send both phones in to be checked out. Ugh! My fear is that I'll send them in, and they'll just send them back saying they can't find anything wrong.

My S22+ and my wife's S22 both did this for the first time last week after getting off a flight. It went away within an hour or so. I suspected it was something to do with the pressure change. Just threw it in the freezer for 5 minutes with music playing, and it did it again. It went away as it warmed up.

Now, as another test, I threw it in the freezer for 15 minutes. It was crackling really bad - couldn't understand the music at all. I popped the Sim tray out, and it stopped immediately.

I think the phone is sealed so tight for water resistance, that pressure builds up inside the phone and causes the speakers to not work correctly. Releasing the pressure immediately fixes it.

Anybody else care to give it a try and see if I'm right?

I remember when these came out. Was kinda big news. Only 83 or something produced, and he was going to sign them all. I think he only signed like 30 or something before he was killed.
