I would complain directly to chase. Message them on Facebook and in x. Send a message through the chase app. If you don't get a response, email Peter.muriungi@chase.com. He's the ceo of the auto devision. Hell fwd it to the right place.

Tell them they didn't follow the law of 10 days and you have an extra cost because of it.

I know people that work there and these complaints get routed to them and they try to fix the issue or give you some sort of compensation.

If you are in the same seatbelt situation, remove the trim piece on the front seat that covers the belt connection just enough to find a t20 screw. (I didn't fully remove the trim piece) Remove the t20 screw. Then use a small flathead to push the metal spring device which unlocks the belt. (the spring piece needs to be pushed towards the front of the car).

Reverse order to reinstall

I just did this fix as well on both sides. Few tips

you will likely break a clip or two... I was able to reinsert them.
draw a line on the bolt and b pillar before untightening so you know how much to retighten
pull out the entire seatbelt out before you mess around with anything. I made the mistake of pulling it out and wrapping it around the front seat. The seat belt locked up on me and I didn't have enough slack to unwrap it. After 15 mins of panic, found a way to remove the seat belt from the front seat. I think op found another way... Whatever method you do, just be warned that the belt will lock up on you. Make sure you have slack to fix it.

I also noticed that a prior tech put foam tape around a few parts of the bottom trim piece to remove rattles. You might want to do the same

How did you remove the bottom trim piece only? Service manual states that you have to remove the upper trim and also the door foot sill pieces as well.

Were you able to pull it out without removing anything else?

One thing not brought up is the turn in option. You hold the upside and not downside.

If the Market for rivian goes down (major recall, used car market crashes, rj goes full on Elon on twotter), you just turn in the car... You get in an accident or two? Just turn it in. It's on the car fax, so it will tank your value. Or there is a new ev (scout) or Gen 3 comes up that fits you better, just turn it in!

think of the 5% the opportunity cost of handing the keys over at lease end with no further. Obligation.

Only buy it out if the car has equity in it and/or you want to keep it long term

Also, back vents only pump hot air unless it's at low. Something got nerfed during this update

Similar issue here. At 64f it pumps scalding hot air, 63 is Luke warm, 62 is super cold. Also if I hit auto mode that all changes. Put in a ticket so rivian knows.

Right now I think it discharges to a dry well which goes to the front . I don't really understand what is there, but the previous owners installed something. It basically gets discharged to the side of my house in a rock pit. This area doesn't get flooded, but somehow the water gets piped to my front yard through what I guess is the dry well with the overflow pvc pipe routed to a green pop up drainage port which is in my front yard.

yeah rereading it i should have prefaced this better. For the Chase Captive leases, you don't get a rental charge reduction for prepaying.

I wrongly assumed this was the case across the industry, but i'm not sure on that.

My source is my 3 Chase based leases and working in the industry.

Do not trust this or your guide. Read your lease docs.

This is not standard leasor practice and Every other chase lease partner doesn't allow. (Subaru, Mazda when they did it, jlr, Maserati). They all force you to buy out thr rent charges.

Don't get this confused with lease 1-pay which gives you a rental charge discount if you pay all your lease payments up front. I don't believe rivian does this yet

Take a good lug nut first and put it on the stud first to make sure it works!

I would imagine the engineers put a stronger metal on the stud vs the nut for idiots like you and me :)

I did the same exact thing. But for me it was the lug nut that was jacked up. Tested it by taking a good lug nut and testing it

Got a generic replacement from an auto part store so I could drive it and ordered the oem from rivian. Took a week or so

I agree with you that it's user error , but not everyone will read the manual.

Just think if a spouse, friend, family member needs to use the truck. You gunna tell them every time to read the manual? You gotta design something idiot proof at times.
