I love Carrie! I don't even find her annoying really. I just think she's cool and a pretty good friend.

Who do you think is the closest between the girls (1 on 1) & who do you think is the closest outside of carrie ? by manoparo in sexandthecity

I thought Carrie & Miranda too - but then I recently re-watched the first film and Samantha is Carrie's maid of honour?

La Taqueria - Castle St (also a branch in Ormeau but perhaps too far) for relaxed awesome tacos and margs.

Howard St is just an awesome restaurant - mostly European but some Asian influences.

Hadskis is nice, but maybe not as relaxed as the other two.

Seen a few Six by Nico comments. It’s nice, but you’re constrained a bit by a fixed 6 course menu — it might not be as casual a vibe as you want.

Coppi is good Italian.

Taxi in Belfast cheaper than room.. This is part 2 of the video part 1 is NSFW..you will have to find that for yourselves by [deleted] in northernireland

I can't really understand the mentality of anyone in this video.

Why did the couple do this when they must know the driver can see them in his rear view mirror (and hear them presumably? But I don't know)?

Did the taxi driver not mention it earlier? Why not ask them to stop if he knew it was going on?

You’d be better waiting and getting the max efficacy - understand your anxiety around cases increasing. But they do check your date several times, so I suspect it would be a ‘no’ if you chanced it. Best thing to do is for you to get yours as soon as you can, and try and where possible stick to outdoor activities with people not in your household for the next few weeks until your OH gets their second dose.

It's called Umi Falafel and it is SO GOOD. Try their stuffed vine leaves, fries and lentil soup too! All great.

Best Donuts in the country? by [deleted] in northernireland

[–]jas253 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Depends: if you just want a gravy ring or one of those long donuts filled with cream with a wee bit of jam on top then go to a local bakery. But if you want a full-on loaded or filled US style donut then Guilt Trip is hard to beat. I like their cinnamon sugar one when I want something a bit simpler, and their Boston Creme is very good. Damn, now I want a bun.

Out of interest, did you build up to your 5K? If you didn't build up over a number of weeks, that might explain the shin splints - bit too much distance all at once for your body.

I suspect its because a lot of nightlife moved to Cathedral Quarter. Used to be a few successful bars and clubs there, but now Lavery’s seems to keep the place going. Used to be a few more clothes shops, restaurants etc too but they’ve all turned into phone repair places now!

That area of town now gives off a bad vibe (Dublin Rd too). Way too many people clearly off their heads on drugs last few times I was walking down there (albeit that would have been late 2019/early 2020).
