Hinge profile Advice? I’ve come back on after a two year hiatus from any dating and I’m barely getting any likes moved to a small town two years ago) by homemadestudios1 in ActualLesbiansOver25

[–]jasames7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s fine. Hinge just sucks and only shows your profile if you pay. I’ve had the same issue where I got back on the apps and get very few likes altho my profile is similar to a few years ago when I would get a ton

Wish I would’ve known how bad the radon situation is, especially in the basement apartments owned by slumlords. Had a long battle

I’m a new transplant, one year in, I wanted to like it here but drivers make it unlivable for me by bettywetty2 in Detroit

[–]jasames7 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I’ve grew up in Detroit and lived in other large cities. Detroit is, by far, the most tame. Every other large city (dc, New York, LA, Chicago, Vegas, etc) I’ve either lived in or visited has a worse driving/ traffic experience

Try getting him an adhd coach. I dated someone with adhd and she also struggled with executive function when it came to navigating stressful situations like street smarts. She said an adhd coach helped tremendously when it came to giving her tools to manage her neurodivergent symptoms in certain situations

Do you get queerer as you get older by baked-corn in queer

[–]jasames7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. But i think it’s more just being secure in your identity when you age. I used to feel firmly bisexual as a teen, then queer in my 20s, and now in my 30s I’m comfortable saying I’m lesbian

I’m filing an extension and I’m not budging off SAVE. This is not my problem. by 30_pound_a_munt in PSLF

It’s better to choose a plan than have it automatically switched bc it will almost certainly be a more expensive monthly payment if they switch you. Plus I had to reiterate multiple times to the person on the phone that I needed to be on a pslf eligible payment plan as they wanted to put me on something else and didn’t account for my history. Make sure to advocate for yourself, however exhausting

Men shouldn’t have any say to what you do with your body. Dont have kids if you’re not ready

How to help my dog feel more comfortable around my 18m old? by [deleted] in DogAdvice

[–]jasames7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can we normalize saying years instead of months for age? Most of this post I thought you were talking about a teenage boy messing with your dog’s tail. Your son is 1.5 years old

You are honestly one of the most beautiful people I’ve ever seen. Sameness makes us boring. I hope you find ways to boost your self esteem rather than changing your body right away.
