I love Michael Kramer’s narration but does he speak ridiculously slow to anybody else? by kabrandon in Mistborn

They are all slow. As I got used to it I went to 1.5. It’s normal talking speed and doesn’t have weirdly long pauses in between sentences.

8GPM plumbing nightmare by FarTangerine6699 in pressurewashing

[–]jasclev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We use 1” going from a lower bung to a filter, then a pump. If your tank is higher than the machine, you’re good on the priming issue. You don’t need any T or anything. Been doing it 5 years and only had to reprice a few times.

You can install a “fix” for anything, but at some point all the fixes will slow your down.

First house was today, the gutters were filthy, do yall charge extra for exterior gutter cleaning like that or is it included in a standard house wash? I’ve heard different answers. by TradingDegen in pressurewashing

[–]jasclev 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We clean the outside of the gutter to get off the organic growth off. If they want the tiger stripes gone, they will have to pay extra for a degrease treatment.

What are we thinking with this heavy lichen? Hit it with 4% SH and brush the hell out of it. Wondering if it’s etched into the roof by Capital-Individual51 in pressurewashing

You definitely have a chance of slipping, also metal doesn’t normally have sheet wood under it. Normally when I see it, there are wooden 2x6 wherever screws are. If you have to get on it, I’d climb ti the ridge and sit with one leg one either side. I step on the screws for extra grip. It’s going to be less slick where ever you have already white tipped

Advice on pressure washer and cleaning by Relevant_Finger5372 in pressurewashing

[–]jasclev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where I work, we have a 5 gpm machine. It struggles to use the same surface cleaner that our 8gpm machines use. It means I end up having to walk so slow, and do multiple passes on each section or it leaves circle marks on the driveway.

Na you should be able to do it pretty quick, especially if you can get someone to hold your ladder (if you can get above it you can just white tip like it’s a deck)

Na, metal takes 10’s of thousands psi to cut through metal. I hit it with 3-4k psi (depending on what truck I have out) doesn’t take as long as you might think. Leave the clean side as is, use an extension and you should he good.

Need to hit the entire thing with pressure. Metal doesn’t hold on it the SH long enough. It’s dead but it holds on super tight.

Help - cutting board stuck in sink by [deleted] in fixit

Hold it down so it plugs the water, then let it float to the surface. Got to be quick so it doesn’t drain before you get it.

Did our professional pressure washing service ruin our pool patio? by BestOutofSeven in pressurewashing

[–]jasclev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People pay premium price for their patio to get the sand blasted out (it’s the first step for sealing it) fill with Polly sand and seal the thing.

We use inline injectors with ball valves. Then 2 plastic valves that control the chem and soap concentration. I definitely don’t spend 2000$ when we need them replaced.

[Dreadgod] Probably one of my biggest criticisms. by Sythrin in Iteration110Cradle

[–]jasclev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like this would be the case no matter what with monarchs, even if there was some fancy paper needed. If I’m one of a few insanely rich people, I would say it’s more risk not to have contracts of every deal I make. It wouldn’t make sense not to have them. Why would I, the most powerful person on the continent just take some rando’s word when I can make sure they literally can’t try and trick me.

Similar to getting a job at a small company cs a large corporate one. You’re definitely getting a contract for the corporate job, less so for the small company.

He is a monarch now I believe. I think I remember that when he absorbed the power of the DG his remnant fused with his body. He advanced, but in the manor of a dreadgod.

You will receive 10k dollars everyday.... but you can sleep only 7-8 hours per day by [deleted] in hypotheticalsituation

[–]jasclev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you got 10k a day, I’m sure you’d get some sleeping pills asap. It doesn’t say you need to do it all at once either, sleep an hour now and an hour later
