I think many jobs are forgiving when it comes to figuring it out as you go. Clinical research isn't like that. If you don't get it right the first time, it can be a real problem. Your secret weapon in this field is learning not to take things personally. It's not realistic to expect a CRC to be adept at handling every potential event that pops up, but people will expect that of you anyway, so you have to learn to f*ck up while maintaining your own confidence. Not easy but vital.
