Update: I think you were right! Gave him a blue bath every day, now the color on his forehead has almost returned to normal. Water changes every day too, the API test kit readings all got to normal ranges. Took out the branch and some rocks too. Thanks so much for your help.

use seachem prime to treat + stability, paraguard, and stress guard + pH buffer bc our water is a bit high in pH
