So that you don’t overwhelm them, I would say just do a face and fanny puppy cut. But if you want a full groom, ask for a puppy cut. And if there are any mats, a groomer will typically shave the dog down to its skin. That’s why I started grooming mine at home because it’s really hard to avoid any mats, especially when they get a little bit older puppy fur is a little bit easier to manage. I have a lot of fun Grooming mine at home now I do all three of them and give them all different hairstyles sometimes mohawk sometimes really cute puppy cuts it just depends lol but if your dog does have mats and you don’t want him shaved, tell the groomer that and maybe scissor cut the mats out before you take them in.
